Sandpiper is a low density three story complex. Its unique V shape building and shared common area walkway in front of each condo lends to a friendly get to know your neighbor atmosphere. Family reunions, large groups of people traveling together and individual families choose this property often. The tropical courtyard, seasonally-heated swimming pool (mid-March through October, as needed) and grilling areas give Sandpiper an ambiance all its own. It is a highly requested property and has the most repeat guests.

Three Senior Sisters enjoyed their week. The unit was nicely equipped. 2/3 did comment that mattresses and pillows should be updated. The beach view from the balcony and elevator were an added feature that we used.

Was good-only concern was the pool not being heated. We book this location because of the heated pool.

We have been coming to the Sandpiper since we retired 11 years ago. We have been stayed in 6-C for 10 years and love what it has to offer. The condo is maintained very nicely and the view of the water is so mesmerizing. The deck area is sheltered from the weather and you get afternoon sun.

The condo was conveniently located to shopping, great restaurants but especially to the beach. This gulf front condo provided views for stunning sunrises and sunsets. The deck allowed for beautiful gulf views and sounds of the waves. We would definitely stay in this wonderful c9ndo again.

The kitchen update done this year is great. Only bad thing about it is the oven takes 20-30 minutes to preheat. The other update needed is the bed in the main bedroom. The one now is very noisy everytime you move. Everything else is is great, though.

This condo is beautiful and we return every year and stay in this unit because it is so well maintained. The owners take great pride in their unit and keep it updated and cared for. We love it!! The only complaint we had this year was the other renters and their lack of respect for others. They were loud and messy and some even stole others property. We have been coming for years and never have we left a boogie board by the gate of the pool while going to have lunch to come back and have another guest have taken it. Many of the guests left trash laying around at the pool and even on the balconies for days and didn’t bother to clean up after themselves. The elevator was down for over a week which was inconvenient, but the rental company did reimburse us for some of the time. They worked diligently to get it fixed as quickly as possible. Overall still our favorite place by far!

6C was a very cozy condo and many thoughtful, homey attributes including additional towel hooks in the bathroom, many accessories in the kitchen needed for cooking, and beach toys and chairs in the guest bedroom closet.

Unfortunately, the size of the washer and dryer played a part in a disappointing week for our family of 5. I spent a greater part of our trip constantly switching loads and doing laundry because of the size of both appliances. Additionally, the dishwasher didn't wash so we ended up hand washing everything for the greater part of our stay. If these appliances are upgraded, I would rent 6C for this week annually as we stay at Sandpiper every year with many families.

Nice condo good location on beach condo 6C has good location in complex. Kitchen was well equipped with cooking utensils . Furniture and beds was OK would have liked newer carpet or more hard surface flooring. Overall we had a great week of 6/11/20 good weather great time with family.

Sometimes, things happen that can’t be avoided. The air conditioning went out on our rented condo shortly after arriving. Bad start for beach vacation in hot weather. But, Bender representatives accommodated us by moving us to an adjacent condo while the air conditioning was being replaced, then compensated us for our troubles. Nobody likes to have these troubles, but Bender went the extra mile to make the best of a bad situation. We have been using a Bender for 40 years, and will continue to do so.

We were very pleased with all the amenaties and Decor of the Condo.

The Beach Themed Condo was so Fun, Inviting and Comfortable.

The Kitchen was very well stocked with all the appliances, Dishes and amenaties needed. We were impressed with all that they had for us to use!!

The Condo Community was very Welcoming and Friendly. Coffee and Happy Hour times were always available with our Friendly Neighbors.

The View of the Gulf was Very Appealing and Close. We enjoyed our times on the beach watching sunrises, sunsets and our daily walks on the beach.

We are looking forward to returning to this area next year!!

This condo is well-cared for by the owners. Each time we stay here, we find helpful updates: new dishes, fresh magazines, updated paint - it's such a pleasure to stay here. The beds are comfortable and we found everything in order except for the ice maker in the refrigerator. But a bag of ice and the several ice trays in the freezer worked fine. And having 2 recliners in the living room is wonderful! We've already reserved for the same time next year. Please express to the owners how grateful I am for their hard work in maintaining this lovely vacation home. First off, I'd never rent from anyone but Bender because of the outstanding service and property upkeep. As a former property owner, Bender did a wonderful job of handling our property rental and helped me make decisions during all phases of property ownership. So I know Bender Realty/Rental from both sides, and they excel in both. Sandpiper is my favorite property, and is like a second home to my family - so many memories there! It offers easy access to the beach and all units have a great floor plan. Plus, the owners take care of their individual properties. As for 6C, the owners take exceptional care of their unit and routinely update, paint, etc. It's a very comfortable unit with 2 recliners and a new sofa. I've already renewed for next year!

I've rented at Sandpiper for decades as we enjoy the property (so clean,easy access to beach, covered parking, Bender staff) We really enjoyed our stay in 6C recently. There was plenty of storage space in both kitchen and bedrooms, all appliances worked well, and we especially appreciated the 2 recliners in the living room! As always, the Bender staff are so gracious and quick to provide help, answer questions, whatever we need. I'd never rent from any other realty company. One tiny suggestion for the 6C owners would be to replace the frying pans (I know they take a beating as a former owner myself.) But it's apparent the owners of 6C care a lot about the comfort and appointments in their unit, and that's something that I appreciate.

We've been staying at the Sandpiper off and on for almost 30 years. While it is one of the oldest complexes on the beach, a lot of the units have been remodeled. That being said, a lot of the newer condos are a lot nicer. Sandpiper is a family friendly place and is enjoyable as long as parents make their kids follow the rules. Our children are grown now but they grew up at Sandpiper and we always had them follow the rules. The week was great, a lot of good families, and we enjoyed the beach and grilling time.

Although we live close to Gulf Shores, as seniors we wanted to get away from the noise of the city. We had a great stay and LOVED the family atmosphere of the Sandpiper! My adult children had stayed there several times and lured us away from a larger condo facility in Orange Beach. "Just try Sandpiper once" they said, and they were right! Love how close it is to the beach, the family atmosphere and the low key feel of the facility! Bender was awesome to work with and super friendly and helpful!! The only problem is that I can't stay there forever!!

Overall, it was a nice condo and we had a wonderful vacation. Loved the location, access to the beach and heated pool. Our condo was set up with lots of games, beach chairs, noodles, boogie boards, sand toys, crock pot, ample kitchen supplies, etc. The staff were very nice and helpful.
Just a few problems that could be updated or tended to. The king bed in the master bedroom was uncomfortable and squeaked every time that you would turn. It could use a new mattress or even a topper would help. In the kitchen the can opener didn't work, so that should be replaced. The couch was made of microfiber and always felt as if there was sand on it. We tried vacuuming it, but it never felt like the sand was totally gone. One of the rocking chairs in the living room had a note on it stating that it didn't recline. It was literally zip tied together underneath it. When you sat in the chair it was crooked and you could feel the brace in your back. Not comfortable at all. We had issues with the DVD in the living room not working. It made a loud noise. Also, the remotes for the television in the living room didn't work. We had to use the remote from the master bedroom, which could be annoying when both TV's were in use.
Other than these minor problems, we really enjoyed staying at Sandpiper and plan on coming back soon. It was really a great family atmosphere and can't wait to visit again.

WE were happy with our rental, our daughter had rented a unit from another agent, ours was superior. They had an electrical problem with the Sandpiper complex, and Bender refunded 2 days of rent for loss of the pool and inconvenience while they repairs were made.

The Bender Reality staff were very nice. Sandpiper 6C is beautiful. We had a view of the ocean. It was very convenient to go shopping and out to eat. There are so many restaurants around to pick from. We went to Toby Keith's restaurant at The Wharf in Orange Beach. It was so good that we went there twice during our stay. It is so beautiful there that i would recommend this place to anyone. Looking forward to going back next year!

The kitchen was awesome. Fully stocked with baking and cooking items. It really had everything. The entire condo was very nicely decorated. The only problem is that the reclining chairs leg rest would not stay up so that one could recline in them. We were not able to get the music system working for some reason.

We are here for Feb. also. Even tho the weather is not cooperating, we've been having a good time and are planning on returning. Gulf Shores is a good area,lots of restaurants etc.

A lovely apartment in a fantastic location right on the beach. Very well kept, clean and well equipped. If I had one small complaint it would be that the small bed in the second bedroom was so hard we took turns sleeping on it because we ached so much in the morning. The queen bed in that room had some kind of mattress topper on it that might solve the problem. Otherwise perfect and I am sure we will be back.

We've been to Gulf Shores 6 times and have always stayed at the Sandpiper. I can't imagine staying any place else. It's clean, comfortable, convenient and Bender Realty's staff is great.

Condo was ready early so we could get in early and enjoy the beach, get settled in...that is a real plus....We left very early (6am) in odder to get home on Sat the 27th so the next renters hopefully were also able to get in early and start their vacation. Grilling out is important to our group so grill space is great. ONly thing it needs are a couple of tables in that area to eat.

Our vacation was very enjoyable for the most part. The only drawback was maintenance being done in the morning (replacing boards on the decking) very noisy. Accomodations were great! Clean and modern.

Our accomodations were very nice. I have to say that I have seen the Beach Sand in much better condition than it was this year. There seemed to be a lot of broken Sea shells in the sand and it was hard on the feet. It seemed to me that the Beach needed to be raked out. Other than that our stay was very nice thank you. I do remember that the beautiful sand and the texure o f the sand was unforgettable. Maybe next year.

Washing Machine overflowed. Bender was there to clean up within 15 minutes. DVD player kept cutting off. Again, Bender was there the next morning to check the DVD player. Had a great time, see ya next year.

Great condo--clean, comfortable, and nicely furnished. I wish the decks were non-smoking like the units, because sometimes we got a hint of smoke smell seeping in, but that's really my only complaint. The Sandpiper is a great complex and 6C is a great unit!

Our stay at Sandpiper was again a wonderful experience! We've been coming to Gulf Shores for over 20 years & stayed at Sandpiper many times, but this was the nicest unit ever! It was so clean, well-equipped & nicely decorated,that it felt like our home away from home...Even though it was not the closest unit to the beach,we will still choose this unit again when we return, because it was still a great view AND so nice!

Checking in was difficult because when i arrived after hours to call about getting my key, the person on the phone did not have any idea how I to open the lock box of which lockbox was even mine. The process to get the key took about 15 minutes standing there on the phone trying to get the key.

We got the name of this place through a friend to plan a 4 day stay on the beach while visiting my daughter in the area. It was a great location, right on the beach, great view and accomodations. walked to the beach in the morning and back to condo for lunch, back to beach and then out for seafood for dinner. Very relaxing for everyone!

Sandpiper is a very charming condo complex in a great location. Tired of high rises so will be back hopefully soon. 6C is beautifully decorated and very well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Only complaint was lots of seaweed on the beach but Mother Nature had made a visit before we got there and the city had not had time to remove. Gulf Shores is great!

Our Condo was very nice, but I was very disappointed with dirty beach area. The beach had Huge amounts of what appeared to be brown seagrass all up and down the beach as far as the eye could see. We were told by T. V. adds that the beaches were clean, not so.

Thanks for staying with us. Sea grasses are a natural occurring phenomenon and it does reach our shores from time to time. Of course the tv ads are referring to the BP oil spill in 2010, from which our beaches have been free of for quite some time. Thanks for your comments and hope you will join us at the beach again in the near future.

I wish we'd known that we needed to bring trash bags, dishwasher powder and even salt and pepper. The couple next door to us said the same thing. Other than that, we had a great time.

The individual condo was awesome with an excellent view. It was clean, well maintained, and up to date. Bender should make the check-in time a little earlier than 4pm for those folks that are driving from far out. I drove overnight so the kids could sleep and arrived hours before check-in. I understand that the rules were set in place before I got there, however, it would have been nice to get there, check in, and relax after a 12 hour drive without feeling like we were wasting the whole first day of vacation.

With that being said, I would do it again in a heartbeat. I'm already planning the next trip.

We enjoyed our stay at Sandpiper very much. There's no substitute for watching dolphins play in the gulf on the day after Christmas! We are looking for a vacation home, and Sandpiper is definitely on our short list. Thank you for a lovely Christmas.

This is an attractive condo, a bit overdecorated. The double bed in the master bedroom is not as comfortable as king-sized in most other Sandpiper condos. Not enough drawer space! Wicker shelves in that bedroom too crowded.
We prefer 4C with a king-sized master and 2 double beds in 2nd bedroom.
Nice refrigerator space!

We quit coming to the Sandpiper two years ago, because we felt that the rates continued to increase but the condo's were not being refurbished and updated. After two years we thought we would go on the internet to see if any of the condo's were refurbished and updated. To our pleasent surprise it looked like there were some updates that were made, so we took a chance and revisited the Sandpiper, and we were very pleased and satisfied with our condo and rebooked for 2011. We had a great time.

Very nice place, hope that every one who stays here help to keep it that way!!

We really loved 6C. We have stayed at the Sandpiper for several years and 6C is the nicest condo we've stayed in. The owners has done an excellent job on decorating. The kitchen was well equipped with cooking utensils, it was just perfect!
