Description

Sandpiper is a low density three story complex. Its unique V shape building and shared common area walkway in front of each condo lends to a friendly get to know your neighbor atmosphere. Family reunions, large groups of people traveling together and individual families choose this property often. The tropical courtyard, swimming pool and grilling areas give Sandpiper an ambiance all its own. It is a highly requested property and has the most repeat guests.

Three beds for three bodies. The kitchen was properly apportioned, and the rooms were clean and clutter-free. We had easy access to the pool and the beach. We were allowed to enjoy ourselves around the pool without being hassled by overbearing security, and we enjoyed the folks who were staying around us.

It's always a great experience at the Sandpiper. I've been staying in the Sandpiper for approx 27 years. The staff is always helpful, the property is clean and well maintained. The price is getting a little steep. I know it's the sign of the times.

We had a wonderful time staying at the Sandpiper as usual. The unit 11 a was spacious with comfortable beds and plenty of pots and pans. Newly renovated backsplash in the kitchen and small island were also helpful. TVs in every room plus carpeting was a nice touch. We had a spectacular time and would love to come back again

Toilet and tub stopped up, they were there to fix within 15 minutes. Blender was broke, they brought a new one immediately. Bender never fails in customer service. We were very happy again this year with our stay.

Despite bad weather cutting our vacation short, we couldn’t have asked for a better rental company or condo to stay in. The condo was exactly as described and in a great location, we can’t wait to book our next stay. The owner of Bender Realty is fantastic! Although our vacation was cut short, he made sure to have us contacted and compensated despite us not having rental insurance. Who else would do something so nice?! We CANT wait to return!

I would recommend that the necessary cleaning supplies be provided for the cook top stove. that is not something that I thought to bring or buy while at the store. I tried but was unable to get it as clean as it should have been.

The unit was clean and in great shape. We’re a guy’s golf trip (50’s and 60’s) so we don’t have a lot of kitchen/appliance needs; however, we did have everything we need. The satellite TV worked and had a great sports package. The restrooms/showers were clean and in great working order. We will be back.

Our rental experience was great, I did an earlier review and voiced my concerns about the condition of the carpet and the fact that there was dirt in the bathroom corners. I was contacted almost immediately by Bender Realty and was told the owner had taken note of my concerns. We are renting another.. unit in Sandpiper next year and are looking forward to our stay.

Rental was overall clean but the carpet in the living area needs to be cleaned along with a vent or two. Light in main bath is coming loose. Ants in the master bed the first night but things happen and it was only ants, within a few hours Bender changed out the linens (maid left them in the bathroom so we bagged them up and maintenance sprayed Hotshot around the bed. Quiet condo, nice pool and great beach access. The only downside was the living room furniture is extremely uncomfortable. Would stay again. Have stayed in several and this one was one of the quieter condo's.

This was the first time I booked a hotel and the owner an realty company were extremely helpful and patient with me regarding all of my questions. We were extremely pleased with the cleanliness and location of the condo. It was also a plus that the pool was heated. Had a great time, thank you so much! I look forward to coming back!

Only thing we really didn't like were the balconies such as they were, no privacy. View was fair.

The condo was very nice. Furnished with everything we would need. Glad to have the washer and Dryer. The only problem was that the living room furniture was Uncomfortable.. Good location. Bender Realty was great to work with.

The Sandpiper is in a wonderful location with a beautiful view and a very short walk to the beach. We stayed in unit 11A. Overall it was clean; beds, bathrooms, kitchen, but there was thick dust on the headboard of the bed and on the decor on the walls. Had an AC drain leak that was fixed and cleaned up promptly. Everyone was very nice and helpful. The one unforgivable problem was the master bedroom mattress, it was so hard by the second day I had a sore hip. I'm an average size person; I've been home for two days and it's still sore.

We were very pleased upon entering our rental. There was more than enough room for my family of 5. The condo was clean, spacious, and very homey. We loved being being right on the water, and we used the pool every day. We were also grateful for an in-unit washer/dryer and dishwasher. We used those daily as well. After spending our days in the sun and exploring what Gulf Shores has to offer, Sandpiper 11A was a nice place to come back to and relax.

I have been staying in Gulf Shores since I was a child, and this was my favorite place to stay yet! The folks at Bender made it so easy for my family and me, and you can't beat the prices! We will be calling again, SOON! Thanks for everything!

11A has been the nicest unit I have rented at this property, the kitchen has been updated with stainless still appliances, new cabinets and granite counter tops. There was also new carpet and fresh paint in many areas. But regardless of the updates that many of the units owners have made of the last few years (the ones who haven't should) the reason we return if because of the property and the way it's layout allows for interaction with other guest. We will be back next year and be looking to rent this same unit.

We enjoyed our stay at Sandpiper 11A. The unit was clean and looked as though it had recently been updated. It was close to beach and also had a nice pool. This complex has, an elevator and a courtyard with barbeque grills. Would definitely stay here again.

We have been staying at the Sandpiper on and off for over 27 years!
We absolutely love it! Location is great, pool is fabulous, units are always clean,

Everything was good, but the fold out couch. It was not usable ! We had six people and had really planned on it as a big part of our sleeping arrangement. Sorry, but I have to be honest.

The updated kitchen and guest bath were very nice. The kitchen was well equipped. Overall a very nice condo. We have been coming to the Sandpiper for over fifteen years and always enjoy our time there.

King size bed mattress needs replaced, Property maintenance should check to make sure the furnace and air conditioner work, the furnace didn't work for 2 days and was very cold. Mold needs to be taken care of in the bathroom on the tub from the master bedroom, But overall, I would come back. These are very simple issues that can be taken care of in a short amount of time.

First time to Gulf Shores and our experience was awesome! Condo was in an excellent location right on the beach and close to many restaurants and shops. Condo set up was excellent for families to stay connected while staying in other units. I would have to say that this was the best condo in regards to upkeep & comfortableness. Decorated very up to date in all parts of the condo. Kitchen looks like it was just updated with new cabinets, granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. Also, carpet looks brand new! Beds were comfy. Liked that there was a king size bed and two doubles in the second room. Another plus was that you could see the pool from almost all of the rooms so you could just walk out and see how your kids or friends were doing. The only thing I would recommend is for there to be an assigned covered parking spot for each unit. We typically got one, but not always. Definitely would request this unit again!

Overall I would recommend this property. Everything was in working order. Air conditioner worked great! The cleaning service should leave the ice maker urned on for the arriving guests.The furniture in the living room needs to be updated to higher quality. The sofa sinks in way too far when you sit on it and so does the matching chair. The pull out bed is absolutely terrible, but I' ve never slepton one hat wasn't. Might want to pick a different color that doesn't show as many stains, that was kind of gross.

Convenient location. Nice pool. Beach was great. The condo was nicely decorated and had good sized bathrooms. The only down side was the pull out couch was not comfortable and the mattresses on the two double beds were a little on the firm side.

The Sandpiper is great! Condo 11A, however, is in really bad condition. The beds have been unsleepable for 3 years, even after multiple complaints. There was not adequate silverware, cooking utensils, and pans. We have to bring our own 9x13 pans because there are never any there. There were no wooden spoons. There were no big pans. The dryer was so noisy that it could not be running when people were sleeping. The rug is extremely stained. The door would not shut properly. The Sandpiper is a great place to stay. I would never recommend 11A to anyone, though.
