Description

Driftwood Towers 6E, located at 615 West Beach Boulevard, is a lovely top floor two bedroom, two bathroom beach front condo perfect for your family’s next vacation. A king size bed is in the master suite and a queen bed in the guest room, accommodating four guests. Stay connected and entertained during your stay with three flat screen TVs, two DVD players and WiFi. This unit uniquely features a private balcony with access from both the living room and the master suite. Cooking for yourself is a breeze with the fully stocked kitchen or try one of Gulf Shores premier dining experiences. There is a full size washer and dryer in the unit to accommodate you while you are away from home.

Driftwood Towers is in a prime location, close to all of the best dining, shopping and attractions this island has to offer. The property offers an outdoor pool, outdoor showers, BBQ grills, and of course the phenomenal beach front location. This condo complex has two elevators for ease of access to the building. Please, No Smoking.

This is a lovely condo with a beautiful view. You couldn’t ask for more. The place has everything you need. Beds are comfy. Kitchen well equipped. They even provided the beach towels and boogie boards. I’d stay here again.

The condo was very nice and updated. We would stay here again. The only things I would have liked to see would be dressers or storage of some kind in the bedrooms. There were closets but no where to store our clothes that don’t hang up so we lived out of our suitcase for a week. Also there was no pizza cutter or blender in the condo. We usually do a frozen pizza one night and make mixed frozen drinks in the blender. Overall a very nice condo and would stay here again.

The condo was so nice. It is probably one of the best I have ever stayed in with all my trips to Gulf Shores. The only complaint I would have was we had very low water pressure.

the place was great. great location great views. couldn't ask for anything better and the prices were very good. the only issue i had was the smoke detectors were beeping. i replaced all batteries and it didnt change the issue. i just removed one and took the batteries out of another. i did leave a note about it when i left on my check out morning

Bender was so easy to work with and very accommodating. Our unit at Driftwood Towers was roomy and convenient to everything! It was very comfortable but could use some updating.

We liked this property because it is right on the beach and close to everything. It is a little outdated but roomy enough for the five people that we had staying here. The washer did not work well and kept saying it was uneven and the pull out sofa bed was not comfortable much at all. I seem to have pretty much everything we needed within the condo so that was good. Make sure to bring your own pillows. All in all, a decent value for what we got.

From the very beginning in researching Gulf Shores rentals until the moment I walked out of the rental office after turning in my key, my experience was wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit in Gilf Shores at Driftwood Towers! We definitely look forward to staying there again. We were mostly very pleased with everything: clean, well-furnished, roomy unit; family-oriented climate; cold A/C; great location & view; the long twin beds were extremely comfortable, with supportive mattresses; good water pressure. This is an older facility, in need of some minor TLC, but the great location, homey feel, and large, uncrowded pool negate the negatives: the elevators are old and extremely slow, which wouldn't be so bad if they were air-conditioned; the pool water was clean and well-maintained, but the bottom was stained, in need of a good pressure cleaning; the sliding door in our unit wouldn't lock, but with it being on the top floor, it wasn't a problem; Cleanliness is my pet peeve, and there were only two issues with our unit: the bed spreads, especially on the twin beds, were very soiled. I was thankful for the washer and dryer and laundered one of them myself. The only other issue I noticed was stained carpet in the twin room... one brown, prominent stain in the middle of the room. Overall, though, we had a great time, and this was a wonderful home away from home!

Pros: The condo was spacious and clean. It was stocked with essentials and we loved having 2 full bathrooms since we had two teenage girls with us. Great view and quiet.
Cons: The master bed was very uncomfortable. I would not stay here again unless the bed's mattress was replaced.

The location of this complex is in the perfect place! The condo Itself was in great shape. Nice decorations and lots of room for a 2 BR. The twin beds were very uncomfortable and were very noisy. I recommend replacing these. Our king bed was comfortable. Very nice view from the 6th floor balcony.

Our biggest complaint was the construction of some of the parking lot. We were not notified of this. They were running a jackhammer and It was extremely noisy and vibrated our walls. We have a 15 month old and it was difficult for naps. The rental agency told us they weren't aware of the construction and told us to contact the property manager (they didn't even know who that was!!!)

Other than that, we had a great time.

My only complaint as far as the condo goes was quality of furniture as the beds were very hard and mattresses seemed cheap. The elevator was a big concern as I was fearful of getting stuck on the right one in particular when it stopped moving for about 10 minutes in between floors. Staying on the 6th floor, we had to use the elevators for all our luggage but stuck to the left! They are both slow but this one seems more reliable. The location and view were both great. The pool area was clean and everyone at Bender Realty was very friendly.

We had a wonderful time in 6E.This property was so clean inside and outside. They kept pool area, elevators, common areas and landscaping was spotless and well kept. Loved the beachy decor inside! really liked being on West beach instead of East beach like last year. We would definitely rent this again!! Also, Bender was super nice and easy to rent from! Staff was friendly and helpful!!

The Driftwood Towers was a nice affordable place to stay. Conveniently located and close to everything. The views from the balcony are wonderful. The unit was a little dirty when we got there and we had to clean things up and wash the bedding. The elevators were slow, but we dealt with it ok. The pool was good size and the kids loved it. Overall, a good experience and only disappointments were the cleanliness and slow elevators.

We always stay at the Driftwood Towers and enjoy the smaller size of this property. we were disappointed by the cleaning prior to our arrival. The floors had to be swept and vacuumed before our settling in due to food,wrapper pieces, and sand. With that exception, our experience was wonderful and the stay was pleasant. We might look at a different unit in the future. The unit is due for some updating.

We had never rented a condo from Bender Realty, but we're sure glad we did! We rented Driftwood Towers 6 E. 2 bedroom 2 bath; condo was immaculate, well equipped with everything we needed. We had a great time at Driftwood Towers.The view was great. Lots of storage in this condo. The beds could have been more comfortable. Liked the balcony door that opened from the master bedroom. Location was within walking distance to restaurants and shops
another added plus. Unfortunately the beach had a lot of seaweed and jellyfish this time when we were down there. We would come back to this condo next time we come back to Gulf Shores.

Older facility, but very well maintained. The pool is steps from the beach and was very clean. No complaints really. I would certainly stay there again. Thanks Bender!

My son and I stayed at Driftwood Towers and we were both impressed with the entire experience. This was his first time to Gulf Shores, and the first time I had been there in 10 years. We will definately stay there again.

Absolutely beautiful unit as we have found
with all the condos in the Driftwood. It
is an older building and has been taken
care of; extremely convenient location.
Bender Realty continues to render excellent service.

Sure would have been nice to have at least one bathroom that could be locked when in use !!!!

The sheets did not fit the bed in the master bedroom. They would not stay on the mattress. The mattress is a California king so the regular king sheets did not fit. (very annoying) The washer did not agitate & the dryer took forever to dry anything. With these exceptions, overall we loved the room & the location. We would stay there again if the items I listed were fixed. Gulf Shores is a great place to vacation with your family!!

We really loved staying in at the Driftwood in 6E. It was close enough to walk to the local surf shops, etc. and the rooms were large and comfortable. We had our 4 & 5 year old boys with us and both had their own bed, comfortable enough to take naps, close enough for mom to escape for some alone time and easy enough for dad to toss out a fishing line (even caught a few). The pool was perfectly kept, and the commons areas were all very clean. Glad our property manager recomended this location, couldn't have been a better place to stay. Next time we'll bring a babysitter with us.

Make careful plans for any local restaurant in the area. When they get busy, staffs get rude and short with guests. Also when they get busy they will not sell anything "to go".

Biggest swimming pool with the least amount of occupants. Great views and lots of parking. Quite in the late evenings and close to many attractions.
