Description

Sandpiper is a low density three story complex. Its unique V shape building and shared common area walkway in front of each condo lends to a friendly get to know your neighbor atmosphere. Family reunions, large groups of people traveling together and individual families choose this property often. The tropical courtyard, swimming pool and grilling areas give Sandpiper an ambiance all its own. It is a highly requested property and has the most repeat guests.

Staying at Sandpiper at the beach was such a wonderful experience. Our place was serene, and I felt a sense of community with fellow snowbirds. My place on the third floor was perfect for us. Our unit was well furnished with all of the amenities we needed. The only downside was the garbage truck at the building next to ours. The truck came 3 days a week between 4:30a-5:30a! I had to wear earplugs on some nights to get rest. However, I made the necessary adjustments and was able to have a blessed vacation!

The condo was beautiful! Very clean and we loved the beach vibe from all of the colors and decorations. The location was super convenient to both the beach (right outside) and great restaurants! The beach was beautiful- not too crowded and the weather and water were perfect. It was all we needed to have the most relaxing week! The staff were available should we have needed anything but there were no issues at all. We loved our stay and are definitely coming back. It was our best vacation ever!! Thank you!!

Excellent setting and very efficiently furnished. Nice over look of pool and very nice positioned on beach. Everything is only few steps to beach and restaurants close. Love it and will return for another stay later.

Wonderful space. Would def stay agin. Only complaints no broom to sweep floors and dryer doesn't dry very well/ Takes at least 3 dryings for one load. But will Def recommend to anyone!

The Sandpiper was easy to find, with good parking. Unit 3C was clean and very nicely decorated. The kitchen and bathrooms were well-equipped and had everything we needed. The kitchen appliances, AC, washer and dryer, and TV all worked perfectly.

We have been coming for years and we love it. The cleaning fee has risen each year but the actual cleaning has declined horribly. The toilets were filthy, the mirror wall had hand prints all over. Dishes in the cabinets were still wet when we arrived. We will still be coming back because sandpiper is home but we come knowing we have to clean our own condo. The furniture needs some upgrades

We were referred by a friend to use Bender Realty and stay at Sandpiper. We are so thankful for his recommendation. Bender Realty was wonderful to work with and the Sandpiper was the perfect place for our family. We have a special needs daughter, who can become over stimulated easily. So this condominium complex was more suited for her needs. The open deck layout allowed for us to get to know our neighbors. Everyone was so nice and it really had a community feel to it. The pool was the perfect size and the easy beach access was great! We would definitely recommend Bender Realty and The Sandpiper. Sidenote: The first day we had a problem with the shower head, we called Bender Realty from the concierge phone located in the condo and a maintenance man was there in 15 mins! Great customer service!

We have been coming to the Sandpiper for well over was our 50th anniversary & all of our children & grandchildren were there. It was weird because if covid but we still had a wonderful time. I regret paying the extra for insurance. I wasn't aware that you cancel at the last minute.

We love vacationing at the Sandpiper. Our unit was well equipped with all the necessities to make a comfortable stay. If we did have an issue, Bender Realty dealt with It quickly! Being right on the beach is wonderful! Property looked well maintained, and the pool was heated during the month of February. If possible, some kind of light marking the driveways at night would be good.

Dear board members. We have been returning to the Sandpiper year after year for more than 15 years. Our group over the years has grown to more than 50. Over the years we have aged as well and with the recent policy change to leave nothing on the beach it has become even more difficult. I understand that the board needs to be conservative and choose there battles but please consider the construction of a boardwalk to the beach. This would allow the aging and handicap to gain access to the beach without dragging everything through the deep sand. If this does not occur soon we will be forced to find another location with a boardwalk to enjoy the beach. That we don't want to do. Thanks for your consideration on this matter. We ALLWAYS enjoy our stay.

We always rent at the Sandpiper via Bender Realty. The unitsecond are well kept. The grounds and facilities are immaculate. I love the pool and the lovely beaches...our last visit, we even had a wedding ceremony on the beach! Live this place!

Beautiful decorated condo. Met owner. Everything clean and wonderful. If there was one complaint, it would be to not allow smoking on the decks. Our family does not smoke so we could not enjoy sitting on our deck because we were surrounded by smokers on each side of us. They were constantly smoking on their deck.

Great experience from beginning to end! Bender staff was extremely nice and helpful. The condo was very clean, comfortable, and decorated perfectly! Proximity to beach was great; pool/pool area was clean. Parking was convenient, even for a large SUV. 4 adults, 1 teenager; great visit; would definitely rent this condo again! Be sure to bring essentials for the length of your stay (trash bags, soap, dish soap, tp/paper towels, etc.). There are trial sizes for your first night.

We personally have been coming to the sandpiper for about 13 years. That says enough about our satisfaction in it self. Some of our group has been coming for more than 25 years. We now have between 50 and 60 people in our group from Louisville Ky. and three other states. We are a great group of friends and family who thoroughly enjoy our stay each year at the sandpiper. With that being said we would greatly appreciate the owners consideration of the possible construction of a board walk to the beach. It would eliminate 150 feet of deep sand to traverse. Not to mention the benefits for the handicap. Since the new Gulf Shores beach ordinance has passed it has made it necessary to make many more trips as to leave nothing more than footprints. We would greatly appreciate your consideration in this matter. Thanks so much. We will be back.

We had four persons occupy this unit over a four day weekend. One person utilized the pull out sofa with both ease and comfort. All appliances were in great working order, and we had all the plates, bowls, glasses, cups and utensils we needed. The WiFi was excellent and the television was in good working order. We experienced no maintenance issues while in the unit. I would gladly use it again.

The sandpiper is always our favorite place to stay. It is only a short walk to the beach and the property is clean and well kept. We have stayed in 3 different units and they have all been great. 3c is no exception. It has plenty of room and was well maintained. We would stay here again without hesitation.

It was just ok. Unit was clean enough and essentially comfortable. Had trouble figuring out TV in living room. It's holiday weekend so lots of people, seemingly all knowing each other were having parties in the common areas. Parking was also difficult at times as larger SUVs frequently took up multiple spots.

The condo we stayed in was the favorite among our group as far as comfort and eye appeal. We did have some issues with the dishwasher but hope it was taken care of. We have stayed there several times before and always had a great time. We love the fact that there are only three floors.

We were pleased with the accomodations. The king bed and two full beds made sleeping more comfortable and roomy. Washer, Dryer, and fridge we better than last years condo. Internet service was much worse. We like being closer to the ocean without the grill noise and smoke, but being on a higher floor helped. Condo itself was in better shape than what we have had in the last 3 years.

We have stayed at Sandpiper about 14 times over the years, but this was the first time in this particular condo. The new owner has made several upgrades and it was a pleasure to stay in this one. Only issue is the weak WI-FI , need to upgrade the Sandpiper WI-FI as it was hard to obtain sometimes----not a big problem but needs to be done.

My husband and I are older but like to bike and walk the beach. We did need to wear jackets but really enjoyed our stay. The condo was very clean and lacked nothing. We could not really see the ocean from inside 3C. The unit was nicely decorated and cheerful with its beach theme. We would recommend this condo to friends. Bender Realty was friendly and helpful. The fresh shrimp and crab we bought and had steamed were marvelous. The bike trail in Gulf Shores Park were as good as it gets.

Overall this was an awesome vacation. The condo was in a great location. I loved the set up/ U shape of the complex. Even though we didn't pay the extra $100 to have an "ocean view" we could see the ocean from our balcony area and it was beautiful. The fridge was loud, the couches were uncomfortable and one was broken, and the water pressure for showers was awful, but everything else totally made up for all of that. I'd stay here again for sure.

I have stayed at Sandpiper now on many occasions and have enjoyed it every time. It is an older condo, not a high rise, but very family oriented and not filled with rowdy college kids. It's very peaceful and relaxing. The condo was great too. A few minor maintenance issues but they are always taken care of immediately and the staff is professional and friendly. Look forward to next year!

We always enjoy our stay at Sandpiper. The unit we have stayed in the past couple of years is perfect for us, but the linens, furnishings, and cookware need to be updated. Nevertheless, we will be staying there again next year!

We were unable to use grills because a group of 70 people tied up the grills every night we were there. This large group was also very noisey.
Overall the condo was okay but the couch and love seat need to be replaced. The couch has a big slump in the middle of it. The dryer took a long time to dry clothes.

My family has stayed at Sandpiper now for over 10 years and have always been greatly pleased. There are numerous condos to choose from in Gulf Shores, but Sandpiper has a homey feel to it that the others don't. I have stayed at more expensive condos and feel like I am in a hotel the whole time while at Sandpiper I can kick back and feel at home. The beach access is great, the other renters have always been good, and the pool is wonderful. The staff at Bender is top notch as well.

For the past 3 years, we rented private homes in Fort Morgan. This was our first experience in a condo, directly in Gulf Shores and will definately do it again. The condo itself was a small complex where families mingled and kids played as if we were neighbors from home. The kids especially enjoyed the pool and each had a friend their age, which made it great for the adults. It was really a terrific vacation. The beach location was perfect and I was surprised that the crowds on the beach and the main drive were not ever an issue. Bender Realty was fantastic to work with, there were no hidden fees or instructions. Easy, and convenient location to the property. Thank you so much for a fabulous vacation!

Our Vacation to Gulf Shores was a new location for us this year we Normally go to a private house in Santa Rosa Fl but our plans got changed when we arrived and it had been double booked for that week so we got to seraching for a new Location and this is where we came to after a 4 or 5 hour search on the internet. Turns out it was a great choice and very nice people at Bender to work with to make sure that we had a great vacation despite the inconvience that we had been though. Thanks to the staff at Bender Realty for helping us enjoy our stay the property was very nice, clean and well maintained.

2007 Vacation to Gulf Shores with our daughters and two grandsons was very enjoyable and relaxing. The beach is beautiful, weather was great. We have been here 6-8 times and return every 1-3 years. Area has grown and it is still well kept and maintained. Good memories!
