Description

Sandpiper is a low density three story complex. Its unique V shape building and shared common area walkway in front of each condo lends to a friendly get to know your neighbor atmosphere. Family reunions, large groups of people traveling together and individual families choose this property often. The tropical courtyard, swimming pool and grilling areas give Sandpiper an ambiance all its own. It is a highly requested property and has the most repeat guests.

Love this place the only think I could say that could improve is the air vents need cleaning you can see on the ceiling where the airflow came out the ceiling was dirty. Will rent again!!!!����

Good location to go to the Beach. There is only one Pool which could be a little bigger, but it was fine.
Some titles in the Condo are cracked but OK. The Kitchen was missing the Dust Pan and a Can Opener. The Big Lamp in the second bedroom had a broken switch, but there was a little Lamp I could use. The second bedroom has a Balcony, but the chairs were broken and unusable. The Elevator broke once, but was quickly fixed.

This condo is exactly as advertised. Loved how easy it was to get to the pool and the beach. Check in was easy and we had no issues that required contacting the management otherwise. Condo unit was quiet even though the complex was full of guests. Only con was that there is very little beachfront in this area so that made the beach seem more crowded. Definitely a great place to stay if you want to be in the middle of it all as it was just a few blocks from hwy 59 intersection.

Bender Reality was amazing to deal with. They helped me plan a Senior Trip for 30 people. We rented condos 3b, 9b, 10b, 11b, 12b, 13b, 14b, and 15b! Condos were pretty clean (a little sand it in floor understandable! Several of the condos had an order like burnt bacon in them when we walked in. After spraying Lysol and air freshener the smell went away. We had a blast and the condos were perfect for us. Beds were comfy and condos were nice and cool. A couple of the condos decoration were mix and match but didn’t bother us. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

We stayed at the sandpiper for fall break. Overall the experience was great! The heated pool was perfect for my little ones to play in after dinner and sunset. Our room was clean. Just enough space for our family of 5. The only 2 not so great things, the cookware sucks, I had to go to target and buy my
Own skillet & the beds were mega uncomfortable and really small for 2 adults (my husband and I) we actually ended up sleeping on the fold out couch it was more comfortable than the bed. The easy access to the beach made up for that though! The ladies in the office at Bender were extremely helpful and very kind.

Clean & nicely decorated. We could have used more dishes. Limited teaspoons (4) limited plates especially when having guests, one wine glass. Lots of great casserole dishes, no 9x13 baking pan. Bug sightings!

Bender Realty is always great to work with and we love the sandpiper. 13B is not the most updated condo there but was adequate for our stay and in a great proximity to beach and pool. No doubt we will be back with our big family reunion.

Was happy that we were able to check in early, with that said we thought when Bender called and said our room was ready to check in that it would in fact be ready. Get to our condo to a condo that, if it had been cleaned, im not sure exactly what they cleaned. Visible dirt on carpets, water rings from previous occupants on tables and counters, same in the bathroom. You would think that with covid going on they would actually clean and disinfect the rooms. When cleaning people came back they tried doing as little as possible and then tried to run out of the room before we saw the poor job they did again. Even when confronted with what they were cleaning with they lied to our face abiut disinfecting anything. Took them 3 times coming back and in the end my girlfriend just cleaned everything herself. Other than the cleaning company and the office not really doing anything about it our stay was nice. Will not ve returning though. Room we were in could use an update. Pool area and beach access were very nice as well as the location with lots of places to eat around and things to do with the kids.

The location of the unit is great, the beach is nice and clean. The unit itself had space for my family of 5. Love the 2 beds in the guest bedrooms. The cooking utensils were adequate. I was disappointed by the overall cleanliness of the unit even with it being the beginning of the rental season.

Bender provided quick check-in and excellent communication. When we had an issue with the oven not working they sent someone over right away. It turns out it had been unplugged. The condominium was nice. Would like to have a King bed in the master bedroom. The bed seemed to be a double but not sure. Also, my daughter said the sofa bed was not very comfortable. Other than that, it was a nice place to stay. I think a few more towels and wash clothes could be provided. We found what we needed in the kitchen. I like the codes on door locks instead of keys. We have been staying at Sandpiper for a long time. It is good for families. It has a pool, easy access to the beach, outdoor grills, and it is about 2.5 to 3 miles from Gulf State Park which is a nice place to visit.

The rental was dated detailing scenery of the beach. We would have preferred a modern look like rental 15-b. We felt safe in a well kept and clean environment.

We stayed at the Sandpiper which is a lovely set of condos designed for socialization. I never felt isolated the people were friendly and fun. Our unit had a nice location but definitely needs updating. The carpet has the tacks coming through and we had to be careful where we stepped. My only recommendation is heat the pool! It is beautiful an inviting to see but sadly not heated for use in January and February. One last shout out to Bender Realty, they are great to work with. The 2 Small issues we had were handled quickly and sent very qualified people to fix the problem. Highly recommend everything. We are staying again next year. In a more updated unit!

we always have the best time when we come to Gulf shores for the shrimp fest. We have about 20 plus friends come down and enjoy this great week. Friends own a couple of condos in this complex is why we stay its a great location and just love it here!!! Bender Vacation Rentals are wonderful to work with and we look forward to returning next year!! already have a unit booked.

We enjoyed the location and ability to see the Gulf from our windows. We felt that the unit is not being kept up as good as it should be. The dryer had to be maintained 2x during our stay. It really needs a new washer/dryer. (We have used this unit 2 times). Also we couldn’t use the dishwasher, was leaking. However the dishwasher is being replaced with a new one.

The overall experience was good, I do question the new rule on the beach that does not allow you to leave a tent overnight and I thought the on site security was a little overboard.

Awesome... best weather ever!

We stay in this unit every year... We really hope it gets updated in the near future. The bed in the master especially. And please, someone secure the dishwasher in place. It shouldn't move around.

The experience overall was excellent. My family had three units right together, B13,14 and 15. The only negative was another family had two units sandwiched around ours. They were nice enough to talk to but they were very messy, took up all the deck space setting trash right up to the door and in front of the windows of my son's condo. They looked like they were camping with cookers and dishes, coolers and trash everywhere on the deck.They also took two of the deck chairs from our condos. One of the men smoked and always stood stood in front of my son's door which would stink up their condo. We complained to Bender and someone came quickly and talked to the people. At that time the other people did clean up their deck somewhat and got most of the trash out of my son's part of the deck. The guy never smoked in front of the door any more. However, by nightfall the trash creeped back over to my son's condo. My son took a picture of it to show to Bender's again. One of the men saw this and approached my son and asked him what he was doing. When my son explained the man said there was no need for that and asked why he didn't just talk to him about it. He said they would move things off my son's part of the deck. My son never showed the pictures to Bender. The trash improved about 50 percent. The adults acted friendly mostly afer that but some of the kids were alittle rude and would give us dirty looks everytime they walked by. The day that family left, they left a dirty, full "ashtrey" in front of my son's window. They never returned the twe deck chairs. Being surrounded by that hostile atmosphere put a bit of a damper of part of our stay. Other than that it was a great stay. My family has been spending time at Sand Piper for about 10-13 years. Bender has always been quick, efficient,polite and professional with any problems we've had.

Our stay was great as usual. Kept the car wash busy washing off the love bugs. The mattress on the queen size bed is a little too soft for us, but it's ok. I have two people on walkers, plus a lift chair in my van an it s hard to find a place where everything is right to work. There is two spots but they are not marked for handicap access. Overall stay was great and will be back in the spring.

The beach was right at your finger tips and the view from the condo was spectacular! The condo itself was really nice, clean and had a well stocked kitchen. You couldn't ask for a better place to stay. They even had an elevator, a cart to help take your luggage up and parking underneath the units. I'll be back for sure and asking for the same 13b condo...I didn't want to leave!

Right on the beautiful Gulf Shores beach. Nice salt water pool. Condo was okay. The downside of the condo was that we could hear the people upstairs running across the floor in the middle of the night (after 10pm) or early in the morning (before 6am).

A few things need repaired. Door knob to closet in master bedroom,floor tile broken at entry door and had rug over them, thermostate did not seem to work correctly. had to put it on 69 to keep it at 74.

My problem was the people directly above me, they let their washing machine overflow or it was broken, not sure and it flooded the kitchen, I had to clean it up and put bowls down to collect the dripping water from the light fixture, maintenance did not come until the next day. They did bring me extra towels however. They people above me also, banged their shoes on the deck right above me until I yelled. Thank you

This was our first time in Gulf Shores, Alabama. The size & the location of the condo was just perfect. The people from the realtor are very friendly. Our three little ones, until now that we're back home keeps asking to go back to Sand Piper. We had a wonderful stay & a wonderful vacation.

We have been coming to Gulf Shores over the last 14 years. Each time we come we stay at the Sandpiper. We choose it because of its size. It is small and very family friendly. We like getting to know the other guests. OUr stay in 13B was very nice. It appears the condo has been updated with new kitchen cabinets and new furniture. We appreciated that because last year the condo we were in was beginning to show some wear. Our overall experience was exactly what we 's good to see the Gulf has rebounded from the Oil spill. We plan on continuing our yearly vacation to the Sandpiper in Gulf Shores.

We had 2 power outages in the same day, and were concerned. But the power was returned quickly and was never an issue for the remainder. We were able to have a fun, relaxing vacation in a nice condo. Should have read better that we needed to bring extra toilet paper and garbage bags. One each was not enough!! Hope to return again next year.

Everthing was great, but the weekend of the Hangout event it was hard getting around and parking in Sandpiper's own parking lot. We will be back but will have watch the weekend schedules closer.

Overall a great time. The room needs a light bulb replaced over the dinner table and the stove. In the guest bath shower handle moves like the pipes are loose in the wall. The carpet needs cleaned.

We love the Sandpiper. We have told so many people about it, therefore we are afraid that we won't be able to stay their again because it will be filled up when we want to come again. 4th time there and plan to go back again some time hopefully real soon.

We were happy to see The Sandpiper was kept up after the Hurican a few years back . I have recommend others contant and stay with your properties.

We had a blast @ 13b Sandpiper. They took very good care of us after my son stepped on a nail. I was very impressed with how concerned they were for his wellbeing and the extent they are going through to make sure everything is taken care of!

Overall our stay was good...there was a large group of kids from a youthgroup that was somewhat rowdy at night. Two years ago when we stayed there, there was a security guard on duty and that seemed to cut down on the rowdiness.

I am very impressed with the property and am very glad that it was so family oriented. The view was beautiful of the ocean and the pool area. Actually, I hate to admit that I could even be old enough to have been to the Sandpiper for 20 plus years -- but I have. And, since my first year, this is where I've chosen to come for all my years to GS. I love it but I'd really like to keep it a secret. I'd just as soon have no one there while I am in residence.
