Description

Sandpiper is a low density three story complex. Its unique V shape building and shared common area walkway in front of each condo lends to a friendly, get to know your neighbor atmosphere. Family reunions, large groups of people traveling together and individual families choose this property often. The tropical courtyard, swimming pool and grilling areas give Sandpiper an ambiance all its own. It is a highly requested property and has the most repeat guests.

This beautifully-appointed condo is situated towards the street side of the property. While the property sits directly on the beach, and you can walk straight onto the sand from the parking lot, there is no view of the Gulf from this condo's front door until you turn the corner, from which you'll have a slight view. A simple walk down the communal balcony will take you to terrific views of the landscaped pool area and the fabulous Gulf waters!

We had an absolutely wonderful time! We absolutely love sandpiper and can’t wait to return. The only thing that might make 10A a little bit better is having blinds in the front windows instead of curtains this would allow sunlight into the living room without everybody always being able to look in on you.

Three beds for three bodies. The kitchen was properly apportioned, and the rooms were clean and clutter-free. We had easy access to the pool and the beach. We were allowed to enjoy ourselves around the pool without being hassled by overbearing security, and we enjoyed the folks who were staying around us.

Condo l just like pictures. Had everything we needed and enjoyed our week in Gulf Shores. We used the condo grills- get there early as grills are used a lot- could probably use a few more in the complex for use. Condo was clean enough upon arrival, but there was a shirt on balcony from previous occupant and a few scraps of trash. Overall, would recommend and use again!

My family has stayed at the Sandpiper over 20 times. This year was very disappointing as the pool was not heated. The pool used to be filled with children having a good time and the 2 weeks we were there the pool was empty. I would have gone to another place if I would have known that the advertised amenities were not available. My son and grandchildren were planning to go swimming on their spring break. My friends know that this is my spring break destination but unsure about future stays.

Love Sandpiper been coming for decades. A few cleanliness operational issues need attention. Rugs in bathrooms do not appear to be washed, this is second time now, different units. Fridge not cooling (took a while to get attention), when repair came cleaned under appliance. Caked with years of dust, cooling fan could not work.

Very enjoyable and facility is kept up nicely. We have been renting with Bender 6 or 7 years and feel comfortable leaving beach things on deck and never missing anything. Most all units are well stocked with cooking and serving equipment. Pool was always cleaned and checked each day. THANKS!!!

We had a wonderful time at the Sandpiper condo! We stayed in10A and the space that we received was perfect for our party! The beds were comfortable, the appliances were up to date and helpful. The staff at bender reality was extremely accommodating and had our key code ready when we arrived. Our key code was easy to remember and the door access was simple as well. The pool was always warm and the security staff was super friendly. We loved the beach front access and spent many hours on the beach each day. Parking was convenient, as was the location. We will be back! The cleanliness was pristine as well.

The unit was clean and in great shape. We’re a guy’s golf trip (50’s and 60’s) so we don’t have a lot of kitchen/appliance needs; however, we did have everything we need. The satellite TV worked and had a great sports package. The restrooms/showers were clean and in great working order. We will be back.

The staff was amazing. Super helpful and very nice. From questions to arrival they were super helpful. We even forgot some items and they easily shipped them. Our only issues was unfortunetly all the beds in the unit need replacing as they are a little old. Other then that perfect!

Our stay was wonderful! The condo was very nice, clean and equipped with just about anything we would need for a weeks stay! I loved the fact it was steps from the beach! Stayed at sandpiper dozens of times. Great location, great condos. Regarding 10a doorknob on bedroom balcony door was very loose . Shower head in master loose as well. Also towels and washcloths were really abrasive. As usual the condo was clean and was great week just need to watch little things

My family had an amazing time at Sandpiper. It was great for my youngest child and just big enough that you could keep an eye on your children without a huge crowd. All guests were extremely friendly. The condo was nicely decorated and the beds were comfortable. We are already looking forward to coming back.

We loved our stay in 10a it was so quite and family friendly. We met a lot of families there and my son got to interact with children his age. We had the room with the double beds and they were very comfortable. The room was just the right size for my husband, my son and I as well as the bathroom that is off the bedroom. I think my favorite part about this particular condo was the view our favorite part about the day was going outside to sit and watch the ocean while we drank our coffee. The day we arrived to check in we got there we walked into the door of Bender 3 minutes before they closed because we got stuck in traffic on the way. They were so nice, professional and didn't rush us out so they could close. I will definitely be going back and renting from Bender in the furture.

We had four persons occupy this unit over a four day weekend. One person utilized the pull out sofa with both ease and comfort. All appliances were in great working order, and we had all the plates, bowls, glasses, cups and utensils we needed. The WiFi was excellent and the television was in good working order. We experienced no maintenance issues while in the unit. I would gladly use it again.

This was our first time to Gulf Shores. This unit really made us feel at home! It is completely updated, contemporary and very clean. There is plenty of room with a King bed along with two twin beds in the guest room. There were no noisy neighbors or loud traffic. The pool is wonderful as well and just walk down the stairs and you are on the beach. Couldn't have asked for anything better. Will be booking again for next summer!

The unit was beautiful and exceptionally clean. It was nice to have a bathroom for each bedroom. The kitchen had everything we needed. It rained most of the time we were there so having three tvs was a plus! We thoroughly enjoyed the condo and the complex.

Bender Realty was easy to book with and the condo was ready upon arrival. The only problem we had was upon leaving. We went to our car with part of our things and to get a cart. The code on the door was changed before we could get back upstairs and we could not get in to take our things to the car and leave. We spent ten minutes trying to get back in and finally found a neighbor who let us use her phone to call Bender. A housekeeper finally let us in. We were then able to get our things and leave. At 10:03 we were completely out of the unit. We would have been out BEFORE 10:00 if we had not been locked out. I'm not sure why or how the code was changed unless it was done remotely. My advice would be to be out by 9:45 so your belongings don't get locked inside!

Please accept our apologies for your troubles with our KABA lock. We never change your code, but the code does expire at 10:00 am. Because of your notification, we now know to reset the internal clock on that lock, and prevent it from happening again! Please keep unit 10A at Sandpiper in mind for your next Beach Vacation!

Everything was perfect except the cabinet over the sink seemed to want to fall down if you opened. We did not open again and reported it when departed. Love the new decorations and non carpet. We will stay here again. Very clean.

Sandpiper property is wonderful..grounds are clean, they have security walking around too. The unit we stayed in 10A was great, clean. The only complaint would be more towels. You get 2 dishtowels and 1 dish rag (need two of each so you have something to use when laundrying). Also need a rug inside front door to help with keeping sand out of unit (one outside which they had and one inside would be for the bathrooms..you get 4 bath towels and 1 hand towel and 4 washcloths and one bathmat. You need an extra hand towel and bathmat so you have an extra to use while doing laundry. FYI the unit was missing the pitcher portion of the blender..had the lid and bottom portion but no pitcher portion. Otherwise unit was great!!!

Great location, great unit, great time! The room was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. The beds were very comfortable. The condo is right on the beach so it's easy to go back to the room at any time for any reason. We would definitely recommend this to our friends. We hope to come back!

We love the condo but we usally stay on level c but we got a this time . I will reserve for c because the view was better and the king bed very un comfortable . 1) pots need to be scoured clean. We cleaned one for use but others appeared burned.

We spent 4 days at Sandpiper 10A. It was clean and had everything we needed for our mini-vacation. We brought along 2 little kids that also enjoyed their stay. The staff at Bender was very friendly and helpful throughout our booking and during our vacation.
My only suggestion would be to have a recycling service. We are used to separating our trash and recyclables at home, and at the end of our stay, we were disappointed that there was no place to put our box full of recyclable material.

We had a wonderful time on our first visit to Gulf Shores! Thank you!

The condo was clean and well laid out. We did have a little trouble with the toilet in the master bath and the people in the room above seemed to be stomping loudly when walking. It may just be the construction. We will definitely stay again, but likely choose a third level location.

We liked Sandpiper's location. Enjoyed the WiFi availability. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen supplies adequate though the missing cupboard shelf made accessing the bowls.etc. a bit challenging for two short women. (We are two widows sharing the condo.) The little balcony was nice, so was the little chest in the master bath.

Bathrooms need minor reparis, smelled like mildew. Unit above us had small children, so we were awaken every morning at 6:30am.

We had a very nice stay at the Sandpiper. This was our third or fourth stay in unit 10A , starting in 1994. This time we did notice a strong odor of charcoal lighter fluid coming from the grilling area right below the unit.
I also had a issue with an "Owner" who thinks because she is an "Owner" can take a persons pool side chair. I guess being a " RENTER " for a week does not get you a chair at a table where all your family is sitting. I guess I needed a reminder that I was a guest. And that rudeness is now in vogue in this country.

The unit and property was nice and comfortable but the furniture & amenities could be better. One BIG problem we had was with the Owners in 10B unit above us. They kept us up until 2 AM each night (up at 7 AM) after we reported them 3 times! Very unfair to paying guests! We had a 6 year old that was more behaved than these adults. This property is usually 'family' oriented but NOT this time. We got some rest & relaxation AFTER we got home!!

Everything was great. Beach access was wonderful. The condo was very clean. We had everything we needed. The property was full of families so the pool was a little crowded but was very nice.

The unit was not the one we had booked so that was disappointing. Furniture in this unit was a little worn but the bedding was good. Please tell all these folks who still have the old white melamine cabinets that its high time to replace them after 30 years!!! Faucet in bath leaks and the kitchen items are a little sparce compared to other units in here.
