Description

Gulf Tower 4C, located at 1051 West Beach Boulevard, in a two bedroom, two bathroom condo with beautiful wide spanning views of the Gulf of Mexico. This condo has basic furnishings, providing guests a place to stay while they enjoy their days exploring all that the Gulf Coast has to offer.

The master suite contains a king bed while the guest room has two twin beds and there is a sleeper sofa in the living room for added accommodation. This unit can sleep up to 6 people comfortably. With three TVs, three DVD players, a stereo system and WiFi you are sure to stay connected and entertained throughout your stay (please note that the TV in the guest room is for DVD use only). Gulf Tower 4C has both a full kitchen and washer in dryer in unit for your convenience. Take the time to relax on the glass enclosed balcony but be sure to open it up to allow the comforting sounds and scents of the gulf into your home away from home!

Gulf Tower is in a prime Gulf Shores location. 1.5 miles from the popular Hangout and public beaches and 3 miles to the Gulf State Park & Pier. Not to mention the proximity to all the best dining and shopping this island has to offer! With its amazing beach front location access to the our white sandy beaches is a breeze! Aside from the fantastic coastal views, there is also an outdoor pool, BBQ grills, exercise room and free WiFi in the Club Room for your use and pleasure. This location does have an elevator for ease of access throughout the building.

The location was perfect with a great view and access of and to the beach. The pool was wonderful. Parking was a little challenging for our SUV. The reality company was very friendly and accommodating. We will be back again.

Wonderful time in Gulf Shores. Weather was great. View of the Gulf was spectacular. We like the location of the Gulf Tower. Close to attractions, but away from the busyness. The condo was outdated, a little dirty, and the furniture was not comfortable.

It's good to be ocean front but this building is too many units versus the the size of the site. Parking is tight and handicap parking is a cruel joke. The spaces are virtually inaccessible -- slap against the building so only children can get out of the vehicle much less a disabled adult. If you can get your vehicle in the spot(s), all two of them, backing out requires an uncanny set of driving skills since dumpsters are directly behind with a wall next the passenger door. If you can actually pull into the HC space you cannot open a door more than about a foot and the car blocks the doors to the lobby for foot traffic. Only 1 elevator was in service but the other was being replaced. Our unit had inadequate linens, no blankets and half the pillows were without cases. Bender acted quickly when notified. Much of the furniture was rickety and some electric plugs were compromised. The beach is extremely short due to the slope at the water but most of the waterline was taken by pay-to-play chairs and shade for an outside vendor. Beach patrol access and dune preservation took up most of the sand area. Bringing your own shade and chairs is uncomfortable at best and your children have hardly any play area. This is an older build build shortly after Fredrick. It is ocean front and close to the thick of things. The lagoon is about 2 blocks north in easy walking distance. Our particular unit had only 1 key fob for access to the pool and beach. inconvenient for 5 people ages 12 - 74. Parking is strictly enforced since trespassers can make car storage impossible for paying guests. The stay was not terrible but these points are relatively minor inconveniences that guests should be aware of before you book.

We really enjoy staying at Gulf Tower but was not impressed with this particular unit. Furniture was stained and uncomfortable and one of the chairs was broken. Also, we did not like that there was not a glass between the living room and balcony. This really hindered those of us that wanted to watch TV/talk and those that wanted to enjoy the sound of the ocean. Plus it made the entire unit very warm if the balcony glass was open.

Upon arrival our condo was not ready but we were given access to the pool and beach until our condo was ready which wasn’t very long at all. The condo was very clean and spacious. We will definitely use Bender Realtor again in the future.

The front bedroom that my kids slept in, the blinds were broken so you could see right into the room. We had to rig something up so they could sleep and change clothes in peace. We also did not like how it didn't have an actual balcony to sit on. Our particular room had the doors but you couldn't really open them and enjoy it without making the entire condo hot. We made the best of our stay but probably will not stay at Gulf Tower again. BENDER REALTY was amazing to deal with and very helpful I will say!!!

Location was perfect. Check in/out was easy and fast. The furniture was in terrible shape, especially when you factor in the cost to rent the unit. Charging for a higher level unit with poor furniture is far from appropriate.

The most disappointing part was the cleaning of the unit before we arrived. The master bath toilet had black mold and the pinkish/orange ring from not being cleaned. The pinkish/orange ring usually takes 2-3 weeks to form. Black mold is something that I have never scene in a toilet, but I have never let my toilet go 4 weeks without being cleaned.

We enjoyed our stay. Was moved to this unit because owner of the one we picked sold house. Didn’t like that. Our unit could of been cleaner. Furniture was stained and dirt. Wasn’t a wash cloth or towel in kitchen. Didn’t know that we needed to bring that. Did not like the balcony with glass on rail. Would not stay at this condo again.

We had a pleasant time in spite of the weather. We met many of others and would get together around the pool to visit. However the last week was not pleasant. Kids had arrived. This is a nonsmoking Building and my husband got on the elevator to find a young man 18 or smoking in the elevator. It was a load group sometimes near pool but most of the time on the beach. The building right of us had a number of young people who were very noisy. I felt time to leave.

We love the location. Wish the pool was heated. We continue to have issues with the tv provider and it dropping channels. This is much improved from the first 6 weeks. The wall paper in kitchen needs to be replaced as it is poor condition. My husband was stuck in elevation until fire and rescue got him out. Other guests complained about the same thing.

It is now the 2nd of February and we are still having horrible service, Not just our unit but everyone in the building. Now people are planning to go to hotels so they can actually watch the Super Bowl. have spoke with Harbor Communications and condinue hear the same thing "our technicians are working on it". They better hire some people that know what they are doing. In the price of the we pay for TV and this has not been fulfilled. The unit was not as clean as previous years. The condo needs updating with peeling wallpaper and furniture showing wear.

Overall the unit was updated nicely. However a few minor things need replaced. The blinds in the guest bedroom, cushions for white balcony chairs, wallpaper ripping in kitchen. Drapes would be nice for balcony & privacy. We enjoyed our visit & enjoyed our favorite eateries & the view. Thank you!��

We love the location. The condo is large so very comfortable for entertaining. The toaster needs to be replaced, The middle element seems to be burned out so you have to toast one side then take the bread out and toast the other side. The unit could use more plastic storage containers. Fortunately I had brought a couple from home.

Nice view, steps from beach, close to restaurants and shopping. Mins to Gulf state park, and the fishing pier was great. Beach was nice, not as crowd as Destine but has everything you want for you vacation.

Great Family Vacation. Everything was wonderful, clean, and beach access was awesome. Absolutely wonderful experience except on the last night the washer broke and water filled the laundry room and kitchen. We contacted the emergency number and they never offered to send anyone out to check and asked us to make sure we hung the towels up to dry or dry them in the dryer Never offered to bring us clean towels to shower with the next morning. Other then this one thing it was a wonderful and most memorable family time together. Would go back and stay in the same room with the same management company again.

We were very happy with our stay the weather was great.The 4th floor was good to see your family in the pool or on the beach.There were however a few things that need to be attended to:1.the master bedroom mattress needs to be replaced box springs broken 2.found a large fish hook on the floor. 3.the floors needed to be cleaned better,when you walked on them your feet were very dirty .4.the toaster was broken only toast on one side. Everything else was great.we would probably stay at the condo again.

The kitchen was very well supplied. I loved having the washer and dryer which was in great condition. The quality of the furniture was good. It was comfortable. However it was not clean. The couch cushions were very dirty. We put a sheet on him before we would set on them. There were no screens for the windows. That would've been a lovely thing to have fixed so you could sit and look at the beach without the bugs coming in. The floor was absolutely filthy. Two times across and your feet were black. I thought it was very good for a short stay.

very good. Did not care for the enclosed balcony. Could only open one door. but the dcor was beautiful and the kitchen was furnished a lot more than others we have stayed in. It meet our needs. I was so happy to see a recliner as part of the furnishings. It would be so nice if all owners would put at least one of the higher toilets in one of the bathrooms for the older renters that have bad knees. We enjoyed our stay.

Sliding glass door to patio was broken (right side). Need better BBQ grills. The valet carts were extremely helpful. General overall condition was good, but updates could be made, like bedding. Sleeper sofa was missing springs and hard to sleep on. The location was fabulous. Compared to other units, we liked ours best. Pool area could use more tables.

4C needs a paint job. Sliding door right side did not work. Love Seat leg was broken. Overall, the condo was clean. I understand that painting needed to be done but the doors to condos were white with rust primer splashes all over for the entire week. Having a painted door when you enter seems more inviting. I'd suggest that the doors be completed first before the walls around the door. It made it look worse. Condo was located in a convenient place.

We always enjoy our vacation at the beach & we always have great results renting from Bender, HOWEVER, I did not like the Gulf Towers condo as much as others I have stayed at mainly because of the enclosed balconies. That was not a favorite of mine & won't book there again...also the Fridge in 4C does not work well & inn looking thru the comments book left for the owners, its been brought to their attention numerous could've been cleaner too..like the area rugs were old & filthy...BUT since we didn't stay inside much, it wasn't a total bust because we had a place to shower, dress & lay our heads down at night... WE LOVE THE BEACH!!! I've always rented from Bender & will continue to do so!!

Location was great as there were two vacant lots beside our property so our area of the beach was much less crowded as compared to other condo's on the beach. Our condo needs updating badly. Coffee maker was useless and the TV's were the old style. We also noticed that most of the condo's had a nice balcony but ours didn't have the glass doors separating the condo living area from what would be the outside balcony. I guess the owners opted for more air-conditioned space. The down side is when we wanted to open the doors to hear the ocean and waves we were letting the cool air flow outside. No biggie though, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the folks at Bender couldn't have been more pleasant to work with.

Very much enjoyed our time at Gulf Towers 4C. Unit very nicely furnished and equipped. I would suggest replacement of the old tube TV in the living room with a flat screen so one could get HDTV channels, but that is the only thing that needs to be done. We are not likely to rent with Bender again only because Bender has a new policy to no longer rent units for Feb only (you have to rent Jan and Feb)so my group (which will rent 4 units in Feb 2013) will likely go elsewhere.

Appreciate your comments, however, I must correct your misunderstanding of our winter rental policy regarding February "only" rentals. Our policy has not changed and we do allow February only rentals. As always, we limit bookings for February until later in the year to allow for potential rentals which include January, as the first priority for rental consideration. If we release properties for February rentals too early in the year, then that can preclude potential rentals that would take January and February and even March. February only bookings are available in the Fall starting in October. Hope we see you again next year.

Gulf Tower 4C - Temporary Stay

We stayed at Gulf Tower 4C for 6 weeks while our condo at Edgewater was under renovaton. We found the condo comfortable and would recommend it to our friends. My only complaints would be that the floors needed a very good scrubbing and the laundry room became very hot and sauna like when the dryer was running. The patio doors really rattled on a windy day. The parking lot is extremely tight. But nothing that would actually keep me from returning to Gulf Tower 4C. Bender Realty is great to work with.

This is our 5th year working with Bender Realty. Obviously we are very satisfied with their customer service. However this year we were a little disappointed that we were not notified in advance that our Edgewater condo would not be available when we arrived in G.S. on January 1. We might have done our plans a little differently. However we were put into Gulf Tower 4C and the condo is very much like Edgewater. Actually, the same owner as the Edgewater condo. We like this condo (Gulf Tower 4C) and have actually booked it for next year but I do have some items that I feel need attention. 1. The floors really need a good scrubbing. You can see the sand ground into the floors. 2. It would be nice if the door into the condo were painted. It is the first impression a person gets when they enter the condo. 3. The patio doors rattle something awful on a windy day. 4.The tv remote in the guest bedroom does not work.

When we first found out we could not get into our condo we were told it would be just for a day or two - then a week or two - tomorrow will be a month. This is not Bender's fault but the situation is disappointing. We have company coming next week and we are still not sure when we will be able to move. We do know we have to be out of here by Feb. 12th as new people are coming in. Many of our Edgewater friends were placed in other condos for their entire stay. We wish we could have done this.

The carts for moving luggage and groceries were very convenient. This unit has an enclosed balcony that creates extra inside area. This adds a lot of room and an extra table for dining. But if you are looking to sit outside on a balcony, you should know that it's not possible (although the doors do completely open to the outside). The ice maker was not working consistently, but other than that, everything was great.

We did like his condo a little better than the one we had previously. We did feel that this condo does need some minor repairs: water damge (?) in ceiling near vent in dining area, carpet dirty in bedroom and water damge in closet when you first walk in.
We were disappointed that you do not give better rates for the rest of March. We did find another condo in the area that will give us the condo for the entire month (31 days) for about $400 additional per month.

Walls and trim need to be painted to make the unit look cleaner. The electric can opener did not work. Pillows had stains and there was a mustard(?)stain on the bedspread. Also, the dryer had a loud rattle like there was something loose inside.

Just attention to a few details would make the unit look better.

A few minor problems with the condo. I would stay in this condo again, however, due to the location within Gulf Towers.

Furniture was dusty. Tub in master had a broken faucet handle. Nothing major. The cleaning fee is sufficient for dusting and a plumber could have fixed the faucet prior to our arrival.

We loved the location and the views. The beds were clean and very comfortable. The unit was mostly clean, but there were food crumbs on the rug under the coffee table and the vertical blinds wouldn't close. Our 1st night, small children were playing (loudly) in the pool at midnight, despite posted rules. This was our first condo rental and we loved being so close to the beach and restaurants. Great value with last-minute rates.

The Gulf front view was great and the beach was easily accessable and never too crowded in that location. My family, including four children, had a great time. I would suggest that the owner replace the drapes on the balcony sliding doors. The cords hang down in the middle when the drapes are open. I would recommend unit 4C.

This is not the newest and shiniest unit on the Gulf, but that is not very important to us.
The one oddball thing about Gulf Towers are the balconies. There really are not any. A sliding glass door opens from the living space exposing a railing. You don't walk out on a balcony. Also the view from the master bedroom sliding glass door is to the living space which opens to the "balcony". The only issue with this is you can't leave your curtains open to the master bedroom for the beach view because your kids can walk right up to the outside of the sliding door.
We knew this ahead of time from other reviews so no surprises.
We love Gulf Shores and have been using Bender for 5+ years. Always friendly and very helpful. We will back for many years to come.

I wasn't crazy about having to pay $18 for an additional car for my daughter and her husband with only about 8 cars in the parking lot. That's my only complaint.

We enjoyed the heated pool! The Gulf water was a bit too cold for me, so this was great! We have come to Gulf Tower for many years - satisfied!

a discount on the cleaning fee. All they did was change the linens out. No tv in second bedroom. Just a unit that could play a DVD, not hooked up to cable which was right there hanging out of wall, but never been connected. We'd rather pay a little more and have a clean place to stay. We were with a group in 4 condos and ours was the only one dirty.

we love gulf tower because it is not too big and feels more personal than some of the other condos we have stayed in. we have stayed in the bottom units as well as the penthouse and each time we have been very happy. we love the fact that it is on the beach and that it is not too far from any of the activities we love.
