We had a wonderful experience! We have rented this same room the past few years and we love it. We were surprised when we walked in that it had been redecorated and had some new furniture. It was beautiful! We love it there and can't wait to return!

We always like staying in the Sandpiper! We were able to reserve unit 7A on short notice as other vacation plans changed. We had a great time and October is a wonderful time as the weather was nice and the beach was not crowded!

Honestly for paying $185 cleaning fee I feel the place should have been cleaner. As soon as we got in we packed a cooler for the beach. Ice fell on the floor and as I wiped it up with a paper towel, I was shocked it was so dirty. Bathroom floor was the same.

Directly on the beach! The front door is about 50 yards from the water. Perfect views. Condo has everything you could need, even some beach toys. Beds were comfortable and furnishings are charming. The property is very clean and well-maintained. Hoses for rinsing sand were conveniently located and the valet carts were a thoughtful touch. Couldn't hear other guests and quiet hours were respected. The rental office is only 1/4 mi away, on the way to the unit. This was a really great stay and we are already planning next year!

These owners keep everything up to date! Over the course of ten plus years there have been many updates! They don’t wait for furnishings to be falling apart before replacing, and always with superior quality merchandise. The cutlery, glassware, cookware & dinnerware are quality as well. Another successful vacation at Sandpiper. By far it is our favorite place to stay. 7A is nicely updated and the beds were so comfortable. My only suggestion would be to have 3 beds instead of 2.

We loved unit 7a. The accommodations were up to date and clean. The location is perfect for the beach and to get around the Gulf Shore/Orange Beach area. The only drawback was parking was difficult if you went out at night and came back later. Two nights we were unable to find parking.

Overall, staying at the Sand Piper is always great. I love their condos. I did have an issue with using the oven. It needs to be cleaned out very well. While baking the oven put out smoke very badly. It made the detector go off and we had to open the door to get the smoke out. It didn't catch fire, thank goodness. The AC went out on Thursday, but the AC guy had it fixed and working within a couple hours. He was readily available and fixed it pronto.

At room check in discovered AC and kitchen sink garbage disposal were not working and toaster was broken. Called after hours and had AC fixed that night and garbage disposal fixed next morning with new toaster delivered. Great location for families and quick response for issues!

We had a wonderful time during our visit to the beach. The condominium was perfect for us. We enjoyed being close to the pool, the short walk to the beach and the view was great! The porch in front was a great place to gather with other family members who were also with us here. We will be back next year!

We always enjoy our stay at Sandpiper. We have stayed in unit 7A more than once. This trip we had family in 3 different units. The layout of the complex is perfect, the pool in the center & beach is such close proximity. Far enough away from crowded high rise=crowded beach, close enough to all amenities & restaurants. See y'all next year!

the view from our condo is priceless, every morning we can see the gulf from the dining room table. The condo is comfortable and feels like home. We love it! Bender Realty has taken good care of us for the past 3 years, they do a great job of making us comfortable and welcome, thanks Bender.

We treated my SIL and BIL to a vacation at the Sand Piper, their favorite vacation spot! The condo was nicely decorated, clean and had wonderful views! The size was just perfect. It was nice to sit outside on the deck and talk to other vacationers. Interesting the majority of folks we met were regulars of the Sand Piper! I give the Sandpiper 5's across the board!

Fabulous condo with great (comfortable) beds. Nicely decorated and updated recently. Close to all the "tourist" things to do in GS - but also where you can find some truly hidden gems on your own. We had a slight run in with the management company owner (he was not informed we would have a Service Dog on premise). Other than that one little thing - it was great time and great experience.

Arrived on a Saturday to the unit and first thing we noticed was that it was very clean!! We had two small kids staying with us and having a clean unit was very important to us. We have stayed at this complex before and will continue to stay her in the future. Bender Realty has always been easy to work with and we have never had an issue.

Have been staying at Sandpiper for many years but will be going somewhere else next year. Want the beach front atmosphere and a newer condo. As much as we like Sandpiper, it needs some TLC.

Rental was very nice. Check in process with the cleaning service could use some fine tuning. Too many levels of signing off. Felt like we lost a full day on the beach because we were waiting to get the "ok" to "move" into our rental. After that the week was marvelous.

Stay was great. Disapointed that the jelly fish had control of the beach..several kids were stung. I was told thare was a courtyard where our groul could assemble,(50 Folks). That was not available, the tiny courtyard had a "keep off grass" sign. Too many radios at the pool. Overall, The Sandpiper is a nice place to stay. We would return (if we knew the jelly fish were not there.)

We had a wonderful time in 7A as usual. This was my 17th year to spend a week of my summer in this particular condo. It has always been an enjoyable experience. The condo provides a relaxing, family friendly atmosphere that allows everyone to enjoy a restful week of vacation at the beach. We always meet new people as well as rekindle friendships with people from the past years. Our particular condo is very comfortable, and always updated and in good condition. I've stayed at numerous condos in the Gulf Shores/Orange Beach area my entire life, but the Sandpiper is my favorite place to stay. Also, the staff at Bender is very helpful and accommodating with any issues that come up with our condo or stay.

Booked for a long weekend and had a great experience. #7A was really nice and property overall has aged well. As expected, beaches were pretty crowded and "people" mix was random. Extremely impressed with Bender and loved the functionality of their smart phone app. The only (small) negative on the unit was that master bedroom's carpet was a little worn and a tack strip was beginning to show at the threshold into bathroom. Again, would recommend to others and would definitely stay there again.

Even before we arrived, we were very pleased with the constant communication from Bender Reality. From the initial contact to the safety check-in telephone call 30 minutes prior to our arrival, it felt as if we were the only customers they had. The calendar on the website helped to create an anticipation for the experience. We found the condo to be fully equipped, clean, easily accessible. The view from our outdoor living area and from the windows inside the condo gave a panoramic view of the beach and the Gulf. Although we did not use the pool, it was inviting. While we were there, we were politely asked by Joe and his crew if they could enter the condo to put up smoke detectors. It was obvious from his conversation he is proud of the Bender organization and touted "it was the best on the coast". Having relatives in the past staying at the Sandpiper and hearing their stories about their wonderful experiences, we are so glad everything they said was true. We sincerely hope in the future to stay at the Sandpiper, particularly in this unit as snowbirds from Louisville, Kentucky.

This was my 1st time at Sandpiper, but won't be our last! Location is fabulous, pool & beach convenience is phenomenal. The condo is VERY well equipped, owner has thought of everything. Not that we spent an awful lot of time inside, the cleaning fee is steep for what very little they do...(needs a good thorough dusting).

Our overall stay at the sandpiper was wonderful!! This was our 29 the year at the sandpiper. The only complaint I have from this year was how late we got in the condo. 5:00pmI even think it was after five. In our 29 years at the Sandpiper this has never happened before. We checked in at around 12 or 12:30 and the lady at Bender said she would call when our place was ready. We went ahead and bought grocery. We were back at the condo by 2:30, thinking we would get the call. When we got there we notice it was being cleaned. I thought check-in time was 3:00 so we started unloading our things not knowing it would be two hours later before we got in. The two ladies that were in there when we got there left l and another lady came to check and she had to clean it again and then we had to wait on someone else to come and check it again, We waited and waited!!!! This was not the way I wanted to start our vacation. I hope this will not happened next year when we celebrate 30 years at the sandpiper. My mother started this journey 29 nine years ago and it has been a wonderful part of our family. My parents have now gone on to be with The Lord in heaven now and my mother Barbara Casey loved the Sandpiper she never wanted to leave on Saturday. I have now passed on the rental of this condo to my niece. Quinn Hammons and looked forwarded to seeing y'all next summer.

We stayed at the Sandpiper in May so it wasn't as crowded as the summer months. From the beginning the Bender Staff was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. Our room was ready when we arrived, clean and extremely comfortable. We loved being right on the beach and having the pool. We went back and forth as we pleased. The pool was the perfect size and my 5 year old loved it. The beach was clean, not crowded at all, had a volleyball net already set up and chairs available upon rental. Sandpiper is close to great restaurants (DeSoto's, Franco' Italian Restaurant, Tacky Jacks and of course you have to eat at Lamberts in Foley which is an easy 15 minute drive.) We will definitely be staying at Sandpiper again. I love the deck that wraps around the entire condo. Even when it rained we were still able to set outside and enjoy watching the ocean. The views are amazing from the front porch. There is even a swing for guests to use downstairs overlooking the beach. Sandpiper is a beautiful and comfortable place that is located close to restaurants and attractions. It really is worth all five stars!

I do not like mandatory travel insurance and 30 day payment in advance.

Consider long term guests please.

Travel Insurance will be offered and it will only be optional. The 30 days before arrival policy is now an industry standard and is a sound provision for the financial security for reservations.

Had a great vacation & 7A is a beautiful unit. The only complaint we had was the king size mattress needs to be replaced or suggest a memory foam pad be put on the bed because there are permanent indentations, so it felt like you were sleeping in a hole. We even tried rotating the mattress but it didn't help.

The only complaint that I have is about my fridge. Our fridge was not cold at all, when the maintence man was in the condo right next to ours I asked him to look at my fridge because it wasn't cold. He didn't go look at it, but told me to turn it down so it can catch up with itself and it should be better. So 24 hours later and now 48 hours with a warm fridge I called the office and the maintence man was sent out. My fridge was eventually fixed but I lost milk and some food due to this. I do have a recommendation- the last night there we had to call security around 130 am because of a suspicious lady roaming around the complex asking for wire hangers and cigarettes. I couldn't find the number to security anywhere in the condo. I knew the name of the company from what I saw on their badges earlier in the week so I looked it up online. The situation was handled beautifully and quickly. I would suggest having that number posted somewhere, maybe on the fridge??

I have been staying at the Sandpiper for, I believe, some 24 years (maybe more) now. It seems to never age. Ya'll do an outstanding job of keeping up the property. I, personally, love everything about the location. I, especially, appreciate how accommodating Bender's staff is. I don't know whether there is a better place to stay in GS since I've never had to look for another. Thank you, Bender Realty, and if loyalty means anything to you -- you have 2 loyal customers in myself and my buddy that nearly always shares this trip w/ me.

The only issues with the room was that several light bulbs were out, the fold out couch was still made up from the previous guest, and the front door knob was loose.

Sandpiper is a great family spot. Small and private, there was no crowded beach and very quiet. Condo was nice, but definitely needed to be cleaned better. Besides that, it was very nice! Location is near everything you could want.

We have been coming to Gulf Shores and staying at the Sand Piper for many years. We love the condos and we love the family environment of the place. We are able to relax and enjoy our time at the beach. It is very convenient to shops and restaurants. We have recently added a new member to our family, and we are looking forward to bringing him every year and introducing him to our tradition of coming to Gulf Shores, and staying at the best condo available, the Sandpiper!!

We were very pleased that the beach was so beautiful despite the oil spill. I have been spreading the word to everyone back in Kentucky that if they can get down there to go. Now that schools are in session, it will tough, but I would recommend going to Gulf Shores and the Sandpiper to anybody that can get there!!

The ONLY problem were the beds! I can sleep most anywhere and do, as I do a lot of travel in my work but I awakened almost crippled each morning from the beds (I would not normally complain but my partner in the other bedroom suffered the same problem) We thought it noteworthy of bringing to your attention.
Otherwise, it was super as always -- we've been staying at this property for some 20 plus years. (never had this bed issue before!)

15 Year Visitor: Overall the stay was great. However, the property does not appear to be managed the same as in the past. Appears that trash is not picked up as often. Loud music during all times of the day and night is very widely done in many rooms and on balconies. Owner in 6A and other guests put beach towels over railing in front of more than one unit on most days. Elevator was out of service many times. There was more beach trash than in past years and beach trash cans are always overflowing, need more than one beach trash can. People appear to be almost living on the beach. Tents are up all of the time and beach gear is piled up in a mess every night. Tents need to come down every night. Some damaged tents never came down. We enjoy the Sandpiper and have for years, it needs more attention than it is getting in order to stay like it has for many years.

I have stayed at the Sandpiper several other times. Each time I stay the experience is "Better & Better".

The property had a refreshed look about it. Unit 7A was emaculate.

It is an ideal place for family and friends to gather for a quite, beautiful time on the beach.

I look forward to my next get-a-way.

My wife and I have vacationed several times at the Sand Piper in Gulf Shores, AL. We keep coming back to the Sandpiper because of it's family atmosphere and the easy access to the beach. This was our first year staying in unit 7A and we fould the furnishings to be very accommodating. We will be coming back next year to the Sand Piper to enjoy another wonderful vacation.
