The master bedroom has a queen size bed, the guest room has two full sized beds, and there is a sleeper sofa in the living room, making this unit able to accommodate up to 6 people comfortably. Sandpiper 1A features 3 flat screen TVs, 2 DVD players and high speed wireless internet to keep you connected and entertained throughout your stay. This unit has a fully equipped kitchen and washer and dryer for your convenience.

With its old beach town charm, wooden structure, beach front location, and easy access to all that the island has to offer, Sandpiper is exactly what your looking for your next vacation getaway! Its unique V shape building and shared common area walkway in front of each condo lends to a friendly get to know your neighbor atmosphere. This amazing 3 level property features a seasonally heated outdoor pool, covered parking, BBQ grills, and an elevator. This location can’t be beat! You will have easy access to all the best that Gulf Shores has to offer, dining, shopping and recreation!

This terrific condo is situated on the street side of the property. While the property sits directly on the beach, and you can walk straight onto the sand from the parking lot, there is no view of the Gulf from this condo's front door. A simple walk down the communal balcony will take you to terrific views of the landscaped pool area and the fabulous Gulf waters!

The Sandpiper is a hidden gem. It's the best kept secret in Gulf Shores. Extremely family friendly and safe. The property is very clean and well maintained. There was someone always grilling in the evenings which was a nice option to dining out. The pool is heated which is nice when it's cooler. Our room was clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay there again and book with Bender Realty. Missy and Betty were the best!!

We have stayed in this room before we really enjoy our family gatherings at sandpaper in Gulf Shores. We love everything about this room the only thing that I would change is to add more things in the kitchen yes
such as pots and pans Glass Pyrex dishes or maybe even a crockpot

Really great condo!! No complaints except that on the morning we checked out the elevator was out of order and we had to carry all our bags, cooler, etc., down the stairs. For a young person it would not be so difficult but my husband and I are elderly and have chronic bodily pain which hinders us from carrying heavy loads, especially down stairways.

We had a wonderful time at the Sandpiper 1A. The Sandpiper is a great location that we've been staying at for years. This was our first time in 1A and it fit our needs very well. Our only complaint within the condo is the condition of the sofa - it is not comfortable and appears to have seen many years. That is an easy fix and would not deter us from staying in 1A in the future.

We have used Bender Realty for most of 25 years while vacationing in Gulf Shores. They are the best. Very courteous and willing to help with your needs. Highly recommend Bender! As for 1A... needs a King size bed in Master. Has no DVD player (we have son with Autism. Loves his movies). We have stayed in many condos at Sandpiper. All are good, some are just better than others.

Parking left something to be desired. Lot was overcrowded and had to park across the street a couple of different times.

Sandpiper 1A was wonderful, very clean and a great way out!! We will definitely be renting this unit again. Our only problems we're some other renters being very loud and drunk on our last night there which made us leave extremely early. The police showed up they were being so loud and rude!! But hopefully they won't be there the next time we come. Love Sandpiper 1A!!

Excellent vacation, room was neat and clean, condo's were quiet, pool area was tidy and water was warm and clean, decks were in good repair, outside furniture was adequate but could have been pressure washed (it was a little mildewed on a chair but we are at the beach and it does sit outside, I am not complaining!) love the fact that the condo had a walk in shower and a handicapped accessible bathroom will definitely ask for this one again if I bring my parents or grandparent in the future :) Bender staff was friendly, helpful and there within minutes if they were needed.
I have visited Sandpiper more than 10 times in the last 14 years and will continue to request it as my number one option. It has everything that I could possibly want and I am never disappointed with the facilities!

We had four persons occupy this unit over a four day weekend. One person utilized the pull out sofa with both ease and comfort. All appliances were in great working order, and we had all the plates, bowls, glasses, cups and utensils we needed. The WiFi was excellent and the television was in good working order. We experienced no maintenance issues while in the unit. I would gladly use it again.

Our family unit of 3 enjoyed the stay at the Sandpiper. It was grandson's first time at the beach. Our condo was in front and on the first floor. Perfect for us! Away from pool noise and street noise did not bother us. Clean, updated condo. Only problem was no one told me to bring a hair dryer! We came during the week and the activity was totally different on weekend . . . security walking around area, cleaning off decks and walkways, and of course, more people/cars.

We were able to book this condo at the very last minute. We enjoyed our stay here. The condo was very clean and the Sandpiper complex was nice as well. My kids enjoyed the pool and being right on the beach. The particular unit does not have a beach view but that wasn't a big deal to us this trip. The ladies at Bender Realty were super nice and helpful! The only bad thing about the condo was the bed in the Master bedroom. It was very uncomfortable. Other than that we enjoyed the condo and location!

We had car trouble traveling to Gulf Shores making our arrival one day later than scheduled. Bender rescheduled our dates and allowed us to stay the extra day without any penalty. A great deal for us. All of the people at Bender and Gulf Shores area were so nice. The condo was very nice, comfortable, clean, quiet, three TV's, just like home. The weather was a little cool for beach swimming, but wife and daughter set on the beach every day reading their books. The heated pool was very nice. Couldn't have been any better.

Good location and very nice condo. Some jackass was remodeling his condo above me for three nights up until 4am. Other than that it was a very nice place.

It tends to be a little more quiet since it is the furthest unit from the pool and beach. The only hiccup was the tv remotes didn't always work and wifi was getting updated while we were there, which was a big improvement to the accessibility in the back half of the week.

Weather could have been a little warmer but a lot better than Wisconsin weather. The facility was good. Next time we will get a unit with ocean view. Location was great.

We stayed at the Sand Piper. W can't wait to go back. We're sure the internet coverage will be improved shortly. The whole experience made the vacation just what it should have been-relaxing and comfortable. This is the place you want to stay during a visit to Gulf Shores. Shhh don't tell everyone, we don't want to overbook the place as we will need to reserve a unit come next year!

I wasn't sure what to expect staying in an older property, but I was pleasantly surprised with Sandpiper. The unit had been updated and very clean. Sandpiper is well-maintained and conveniently located. Bender provided excellent & efficient customer service. I would definitely stay at this property or a property managed by Bender my next visit to Gulf Shores. In fact, I've already mailed a Bender brochure to a friend for her upcoming visit.

When we arrived at check in time, we were told our room wasn't ready. So, we had to wander around for an hour. Seems the previous guest, an elderly gentleman, fell from the tub and did damage to the wall and door and repairs had to be made. The freezer leaked water into the refrigerator which leaked on the top shelf and into the crispers, and the floor. Our first then minutes in the condo started with my wife getting on her hands and knees to clean the water on the floor. This was a Saturday and was told someone would be there Monday to fix the leak but, no one ever showed up. Despite these inconveniences, we had an overall pleasant stay, and will definitely consider staying here in the future.

My family's first time in Gulf Shores and our first time with Bender Realty. Sandpiper 1A was a very clean and well stocked condo. Everything works and in order. Less than 100 yards from the beautiful sandy beach. 3/4 mile from a small grocery store.
Do Not pass it up. They have everything you need and cheaper than Wal-Mart which is 4 miles away. We will definitely be back.

The only problem we had was a hyper child above us. Will probably ask for a room on 3rd floor next. And a slow elevator, but at least it worked.

The condo was very clean and up to date. Beds were comfortable in both rooms. You do not have a view of the beach but it is not a problem this condo makes up for not having a view. Will book this same condo again.

We loved the proximity to the beach and the condo was nicely furnished and plenty big enough for our family of 4. Unfortunately, the weather was against us. Even though we were able to sightsee (Fort Morgan, Dauphin Island) and shop (Pelican Place, Tanger Outlets), we left early for home.

This was our first family vacation. We have 4 children and this condo was set up perfect with 2 queen beds for the kids we had plenty of room for everything we needed. The condo was clean and taken care. Also it is just a walk through the courtyard to get to the beach! We loved it and will be coming here again.

Great place to stay! I would like to have been able to stay longer. The freezer was dripping water into the refrigerator section on the second day. I think the coils may need a good cleaning. I was able to remove a layer of lint/debris from them manually...also noted the deforst pan was dry. The arm rest pad of the recliner is missing a screw and kept sliding off the rest. I will not hesiated to stay again. Thank you for the oppertunity to be a guest.

This was my 6th year at the Sandpiper. We had rented 6 Condo's for this years vacation and all the units were nice. The only complaint that I had was in 1A, it is not furnished very well with bowls and pots and pans. I had to borrow some large mixing bowls. Very minor, just a fyi. Overall great vacation, sorry it's over. See you next year!

We recently stayed at the Sandpiper Condo Complex in Gulf Shores,AL.This was the fourth time we've stayed in the same complex. Each time we were in a different condo and they have all been beautifully decorated, fully equipped with everything we needed, very clean and so comfortable they made us feel like we were at home. This unit was very clean and had all necessary amenities. Beach accomodations were nice as well and it had plenty of beach to admire. My only issues were the beds and pillows were extremely FIRM. Also, if someone were on the level above you while sitting
outside, sand falls between the deck and lands on you and/or in your drink/plate.

The only thing that could make the stay better is Having less chair rentals out on the beach. Was their for 10 days and not once were half the chairs rented.
Also need to spray for ants around the grounds. Had two people in our group with ant bites one had to go to have a shot because of a recation to the bit.
Need to get more chairs out side of the units people were taking them because they did not have but one or two.

We have stayed at the Sandpiper the last three summers and plan to do so again this year. I continue to be shocked at what an amazing value it is. It's so much cheaper than a hotel room, yet it's a whole condo and right on the beach! The condo we stayed in last year, 1A, lost a few points for cleanliness; there was sand on the kitchen table and there was a terrible smell in the kitchen (which we alleviated by running the garbage disposal). Those are minor quibbles, though. The Sandpiper is not the ritziest place on the beach, but it is generally clean and well-maintained, and the condos are nicely decorated and furnished. Everyone we've spoken with at Bender has been an absolute pleasure to deal with. We hope to keep returning to the Sandpiper for many summers to come!

This is our second stay in this property, but first in the one-bedroom unit. We loved the quiet location away from poolside. The only adjustments I could suggest: 1) as it was early in the season,the pool heater needed to be turned on, and 2)the couch/bed in the living room was not very comfortable. Otherwise, everything was great.
