"Island Royale 806, located at 809 West Beach Boulevard, is the luxury vacation you and your family have been waiting for. Join us in this stunning and huge three bedroom, three bathroom beach front condo. The master suite contains a king bed, both guest rooms have queen beds and there is a sleeper sofa in the living room making this unit perfect to comfortably accommodate up to 8 people. The amazing balcony off the front of this condo has views that seem to span for days. Make sure to soak up that gulf breeze! There is a fully equipped kitchen and washer and dry in unit for your convenience. Island Royale 806 contains four flat screen TVs, DVD player and WiFi to keep you connected throughout your stay.
Island Royale is a beach front property making it easy to access the white sandy gulf coast everyday. Other amenities that this property includes are a swim through indoor/outdoor pool, child's pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room, exercise room overlooking the beach and BBQ grills. There is a convenient boardwalk that leads straight out to the beach and is equipped with showers for your return! The property features covered parking and two elevators making moving about the building a breeze. This location is prime for experiencing all that Gulf Shores has to offer in the way of dining, shopping and recreation all within a short 5 minute walk. Make sure to check it all out!

We have been coming to Gulf Shores for years now, from the time the kids were small until now where they are adults still coming with mom and dad on Vacation. This condo was by far our favorite. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a great experience and a great place to stay. Bender made everything easy and I have to say that they were so attentive and made you feel that they would handle anything in a fast and professional way. They never had to respond as everything was as advertised and worked perfectly. However, I have no doubt that they would have, if needed. If you are going to spend some time in Gulf Shores, this is the place to do it!

Condo unit 806 was wonderful.Owner has redecorated the unit and our family loved staying there for the week. No issues at all during our vacation. We come every year in October and always choose the unit. Weather was great with a brief cool spell that did not keep us off the beautiful beach. We will be back in 2023.Bender Vacation folks were great and made our check in and check out very easy.

Beach trip was 100% excellent. Room was terrific..new furniture, unit had been repainted, view from balcony was the best of all our trips to Gulf Shores. Upgrades to the building are ongoing with new elevators being installed, repainted of the building, and upgrading building accessories. Weather was perfect, beach was beautiful, and everyone had a "blast'.

This was our first time in Gulf Shores and we were so happy with this condo! It has a beautiful balcony view and is located on an awesome fine-sand beach. This area of Gulf Shores (west side) is just a little quieter, but still close enough to stores and restaurants that you can walk if you want.
The condo was clean and comfortable and although some of the kitchen pans could be updated to sit flatter on the induction cooktop, it was well appointed with all you should need to cook with. We also appreciated the washer and dryer in the condo!
The wifi was very good as our daughter had virtual college classes and meetings while we were there and had no issues.
Bender realty was very easy to work with and friendly. We had a battery go in one of the smoke detectors and maintenance was there quickly.
We did not use the pool or common areas such as exercise rooms, which were a litle small, but appeared to be clean. The area is doing it's best to recover from last fall's hurricane and the Covid shutdowns.
We did use carry out service for the nights we opted to not cook as there were some longer waits at the more popular places and unfortunately, some restaurants did not follow covid protocols for seating or masks very well. We ate out at Sunset Cork Room and Perch and had wonderful meals in a nice atmosphere.
Overall, We really enjoyed out trip and will be back next spring! The only reason we did not re-book this condo is because we do not need 3 bedrooms for just two of us.

The location and beach view was wonderful! The space was adequate for 6 people and we loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom. The downfalls were that when we arrived there was only 1 roll of toilet paper for 8 people and the floor of the condo was very dirty as well as the kitchen counters being dirty. I can understand some sand due to its location on the beach, but our feet were black on the bottom after walking barefoot for only a few hours. The other letdown was the pool area did not appear as in pictures and needed a lot of updating- but I assumed this was very much due to the hurricane in the fall, which is understanding- just wished this would have been communicated to us. Overall we loved the location and view but wished the cleanliness would have been better.

Only complaint was there was only one working elevator for the building. One morning that elevator was not working.. Carrying groceries up steps to the 8th floor was not fun! Called to report and repair was made within a few hours.

Great location and porch has the best views! Plenty of space and 3 bathrooms really made it more comfortable for all. Need to update the master bed/mattress and master bath but everything else was up to date.

The condo itself was great. However, it is smaller than appears in the picture so if you truly have 8 people it will be a tight fit in the living room and kitchen area. The living space was perfect for us but we ended up not having as many people as originally planned. The balcony was big and had a great view.

We have vacationed at Gulf Shores twice. It is a great place to stay. Bender realty and the room was great. Both times we stayed the building elevators malfunction. We are thinking about trying a different location due that problem.

Our condo was beyond our expectations. The view was priceless and sand between your toes was just a few steps away. The 3 bedroom/3 bathroom worked out perfect for our extended family. Super clean, loved the 3 baths( teenage girls) , and the beds were super comfy. Access to laundry in the condo was terrific. Unfortunately our dryer took twice to dry but honestly I believe that was our only complaint. Don’t swipe pass this place . You will not be disappointed. This is our 2nd year with Bender Rentals and Betty is a true sweetheart.

Condo was perfect design and setup. Great beach view and atmosphere. So relaxing day and night. The deep sea fishing trip with Summer Time Charters in Dauphin Island was a wonderful experience and didn't disappoint. Favorite dining was The Tin Top Restaurant in Bon Secour, Brick and Spoon in Orange Beach. Also enjoyed Acme Oyster house, Lulu's, The Hangout and The Original Oyster House. Best vacation ever. Can't wait to come back to try other dining experiences.

We were very pleased with our stay. The condo was very clean and roomy. The only problem we had was the a/c went out, but within the hour a maintenance man showed up and we were back cooling off. We had 8 girls travel down to stay for a long weekend in Gulf Shores. The ladies were incredibly nice at the check-in and we loved that our room had a keyless entry because keeping track of a key card between 8 girls would not have been fun! Beds were so comfy and our view was incredible! We have already been talking about plans to come back! Thank you!

Our family of six loved the condo and the location. The view was great, and being right on the beach was awesome. Other than the dryer which simply would not try a load of clothes--even if it ran for hours--we didn't have any problems. Bender was great to work with so we could easily envision staying in Gulf Shores again (but in a different unit due to the dryer).

Its been 7 years since we've been to the beach so this was a much needed beach getaway retreat and were o so blessed with the perfect unit. STunning & beautiful location and could not want for a better condo unit. Beautifully decorated and so very comfortable! Loved the corner unit having a larger than normal balcony and view. Kitchen very well stocked for all your cooking conveniences which we did none but had we it would have been great:) We stayed the week after labor day so crowds were less and the traffic too and "NO Waits" at the restaurants which was just Lovely! Perfect Condo & beach and we will stay here again. Wish i was there now:)

This was close to our 20th family vacation in Gulf Shores and we'll keep coming back. The beach is beautiful ,the people friendly, the condo, very nice. It's was the first time at Island Royal,.(Usually we stay at the Gulf Village.). The balcony was very spacious, the furnishings comfy. This condo was smaller than at G. V.,but having a 3rd bath was nice. My only complaint is that the condo is advertised to sleep 8. The sleeper sofa was impossible to sleep on. The mattress was lumpy and thin,(I have found this to be the case in almost all condos with any age.) Fortunately our daughter had an air mattress. Also only 2 cars are given a parking pass...understandable if the condo is full, but ours was not. Our son-in-law had to park almost a block away.
We cook a lot on vacation as our grandson has severe food allergies. Besides, we didn't want to have to clean up and wait forever at a restaurant, missing my favorite time on the beach. We discovered that our mixer didn't work, and the staff at Bender brought a replacement less than 10 minutes after we called. The kitchen was very amply furnished with dishes, pots and pans and small appliances. My only wish, (and I am an admitted neat freak) is that there was a better vacuum for the ceramic floors. 8 people can drag in a lot of sand even with hosing off before entering the condo.
We've been all over the east coast, but nothing compares to the beaches in Gulf Shores. We're already planning next years trip!

The condo was in a beautiful spot right on the beach. The views were spectacular. The building was very well taken care of, and this condo was a perfect vacation for our family of 6. I had never rented a condo before so I was a little concerned about what I was getting into. This place was great. LOVED the balcony. Had everything we needed in the kitchen. Plenty of blankets and pillows. The only thing was the recliner was VERY broken. My son was the only one who could use it. lol Not a big deal though. We will be back and will keep this place on the list.

Our family rented this beautiful three bedroom/three bath unit for the week of July 4th. We loved the location and the layout of the unit for our teenaged son and daughter (and a friend). The beach is beautiful and the fireworks were AWESOME from the pier that we watched from the balconey. Beautiful weather and a beautiful unit. Elevators worked fine. The sliding doors to the balcony were tough to move, but if we didn't close them completely, they were much easier to open. The front door knob does not seem to latch well, but we were fine using the deadbolt when necessary. I would highly recommend replacing the recliner in the living room. We tried to open the legs and could barely get them retracted. The seat of the chair is also breaking apart. We advised realtor about the cabinet door under the sink that fell off in my hand on the last night.

We loved our time in Gulf Shores and wanted to stay another week!!! Nice unit for families.

Pool is in shade most of the day,but is very good if you have small children.Indoor pool goes out side as well,however if you are a sun girl or boy you must go to the beach for your tan.Had a great stay and love the people of Gulf Shores,even came when we heard that was oil spill just to show them our support!!!!!

The condo was beautifully decorated, location was fantastic -- on the beach with a beautiful view.

The only downside was the elevator broke down the night before we left. We had to climb the eight flight of stairs with elderly parents. The elevator remained out of order the following morning we had to check out so carrying luggage and supplies for six individuals and assisting the elderly down the eight floors was very inconvenient and unsafe. No one from the condo staff offered or acknowledged whether anyone needed any assistance moving their luggage, etc. I really felt sorry for the elderly folks who did not have younger adults their to help them with their luggage.

Otherwise the beach and condo was beautiful.

We enjoyed our stay, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Maintenance was very quick to fix a few minor problems with our disposal in the kitchen sink, and the slow drain in the master bath. Our only complaint about the conditions were the dirty
toilets. You could see black mold under the rim of the toilets, and in the master bath, the mold was beginning to grow into the toilet. The rest of the condo was clean adn well taken care of.

1. No WiFi service, spent a long time on phone with Harbour Communications never got it to work, speaking with other tenants theirs was not working either.

Cleaning fee too expensive. Management did not know where workout room was located so had to do some detective work to find it ourselves. Apartment had a couple of maintenance issues that we told management about upon leaving. But, I suspect they are a couple of things that have been an issue for awhile. Entrance door sticks so difficult to get in and sliding screen door to balcony in living room has to be lifted to slide. Excellent location right on beach. Balcony is amazing in the apartment. All bedrooms had their own bathroom and flatscreen. Master bedroom had a sliding door to the balcony which was wonderful to open and listen to waves. Managment was nice & we did book this property on short notice so overall happy with property and stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We can access anything in Gulf Shores within a few miles of the condo. The staff at Bender Realty was a pleasure to work with. The staff was very courteous, as well as informative regarding things to do in Gulf Shores, as well as good places to eat. We have not been back to Gulf Shores since 2005 and had seen all the pictures and news reports on the oil spill and it's impact to Gulf Shores. We were surprised and very pleaesed that we could enjoy those early morning walks on your beach and swim and float in those beautiful Gulf waters with no problems with oil or those dreaded tar-balls. Great balcony view of the beach! Loved hearing the sound of the surf . . . nothing's more relaxing!

The condo and the view were great. The one down comment is that I found out on my way to check out that there were items such as toilet paper available on the 3rd floor. I wish we had known. We had to go shopping & purchase such items.

The deadbolt was the only way to lock and unlock the door and it was VERY difficult to lock and unlock. The doorknob was very loose and needed repair. The air conditioning worked but took a very long time to cool the condo - it didnt seem to cool very well. Overall the building was very nice and the location was great.

The pool area was a big disappointment, it was in the shade all day with no sun at all. The room could have been cleaner, there was sand all in the floor when we arrived, so the first thing that I had to do was sweep the floors. I liked how the walk to the beach was really short.

The condo was in a perfect location, and fit the needs of our family. It was spacious, had a terrific view, and was equipped with everything I would need from home. My only disappointment was the cleanliness of the condo. The kitchen area and linens on the bed seemed very clean; however, the bathrooms were left dirty. There was black under the rim of the toilets, hairs on the sinks and the soap dishes were dirty. It also seemed like the place had not been thoroughly swept because balls of dust and a few wrappers came out from under the bed in the 2nd bedroom (with attached balcony). The showers didn't appear to be clean as well. I would enjoy staying at this condo again, as long as I was guaranteed it would be more clean the next time we stayed. We definitely are planning on returning next year, and will be booking another rental soon.

Our stay at Island Royale 806 was great. I did have a few issues with some of the lights not working and the dryer not drying properly. I called to report the light issue but noone every came to fix the problem. I have rented from Bender several times and never had a problem, but this unit was not the cleaniest I have seen in the past. All of my issues were reported to Bender. I will be renting from Bender again in the future.

We had a family vacation requested by our mom, who was diaganosed with Brain cancer earlier this year. Bender Reality made it very easy and pleasureable. I would always recommend Bender to friends travelling.

The unit was very nice and roomy ~ we loved the large balcony. The toilet in master bathroom would not properly flush. We called maintenance, repairman came, but it never was repaired. The dryer would not heat enough to dry the clothes. This sounds like I am complaining but the unit was beautiful and in a great location.
