"Gulf Tower 8C, located at 1051 West Beach Boulevard, is a tastefully decorated and comfortable two bedroom, two bathroom condo with amazing beach front views and access. The master suite in this unit contains a king size bed while the guest room has a queen size bed. With a sleep sofa in the living room, this unit is able to accommodate 6 people comfortably. Gulf Tower 8C comes ready to keep you entertained and connected with two TVs w/ LED and WiFi. The glass enclosed balcony offers exquisite coastal views as well as ability to open up and allow in the fresh beach breeze! This unit contains a full kitchen as well as washer and dryer for your convenience.

Gulf Tower is in a prime Gulf Shores location. 1.5 miles from the popular Hangout and public beaches and 3 miles to the Gulf State Park & Pier. Not to mention the proximity to all the best dining and shopping this island has to offer! With its amazing beach front location access to the our white sandy beaches is a breeze! Aside from the fantastic coastal views, there is also an outdoor pool, BBQ grills, exercise room and free WiFi in the Club Room for your use and pleasure. This location does have an elevator for ease of access throughout the building. Please, No Smoking.

Seven-night stays only, Saturday to Saturday, months of May - August.
Monthly rentals November through January only

Parking is limited to ONE car. Duallies prohibited"

Clean, nice. Enjoyed it. No complaints except that changed door code long before check out and had to get another code. Other than that great. They worked with us to be able to stay an extra night by moving to another condo. Very nice people to work with.

IT WAS PRETTY GOOD. THERE WERE JUST SOME MINOR ISSUES.

1. There are two elevators and one did not work half of the time. This caused some long waits and cramped elevators.

2. My son slept on the sleeper sofa. Upon removing the cushions we found the sleeper part was covered in crumbs. Had obviously not been checked/cleaned by house keeping in quite a while. Also, there were no sheets/pillow cases to be found in any of the closets. He had to sleep on the bare mattress and pillows. On checkout day we found a platic bag on linens outside on the porch.

The Bender Reality Reps were polite and helpful — I look forward to renting from Bender again in the future. The condo was in a great location, but there were some cleanliness issues. When we checked in, some of the bath towels and pillow cases had visible stains. Parking is also VERY tight. Overall, we had a nice vacation.

We loved the view. It was great. In all, we thought the space was easy to live in for the week. Not cluttered with too much furniture. There were a few outlets that didn't work and the living room light switch had to be rigged to keep the light on. Other than those small items, we loved our stay.

The hallway areas were gross at times. (Trash and food items scattered about.)

The pool was clean and well kept!

We stayed in 8C in the Gulf Tower Sunday through Thursday. The condo was very nice, it was modern and updated. We had all the amenities of home. The place was keep very clean. Most of all, the location was fantastic. We were right on the beach, the pool is on the way. We were also close to shops and dining. We would definitely stay again!

The unit overlooks the Gulf so you can watch the moods of the ocean and the activities happening on the beach. The unit is comfortable, clean and in a good location.

My husband and I stayed at this condo for several years and we love it! It is decorated very nicely with a well stock kitchen and updated appliances. The condo is located directly on the beachfront giving it a spectacular view from sunrise to sunset. We particularly like the enclosed balcony with the dining table and eat most of our meals there while enjoying the view.
There are no cons to this unit.

The Bender Realty staff is wonderful. There are friendly helpful and welcoming when we return each year. They are knowledgeable of the condo units and a tremendous help when needed. Keep in mind that Gulf Tower has a one-car limit, which is strictly enforced. Bender reality Office is just a short walk down the road and they offer to park for the extra car, which is very much a bonus.

Overall, the stay was nice. Gulf Towers 8C was one of the nicest condos we have stayed in. Unfortunately, we had issues with building/security management staff. Of the 3 nights we were there, 2 nights we were met with parking notification violations. Each time we had our parking pass visible. Although the condo was nice and Bender was great to work with, we will probably never stay at Gulf Towers again.

We have been coming to Gulf Shores and Gulf Tower for over 25 years. we love the location on the beach. the view of the water from the bedroom and most of all the glassed balcony. We can park are car and walk to almost everwhere we want to go.

The condo is well supplied and clean. The grounds keepers do a good job. The location is perfect and the view is unbelievable. Bender Realty is great to work with, but I wish they could do something about the weather.

I'm sorry to say our time at Gulf Shores came to an end. Our unit was well supplied, the kitchen had upgrade appliances, the beds were firm and comfortable, great view of the Gulf and great location being close to eating and shopping. We appreciated the staff at Bender for their help and suggestions.

We stayed in this unit before because it's clean, two bedrooms and a great location. The patio door on the outside of the deck can be opened in nice weather otherwise closed, yet have a perfect view of the beach. We'll be back. Thank you Bender Realty for good advice and great service.

We had a wonderful experience! Everything was clean and ready to go when we arrived. One of the bathrooms is not attached to the bedroom, which actually ended up working better for us. The only thing we wished we could have changed was a real balcony instead of an inclosed one, and that we could have kept both cars on the property and not paid extra to park it somewhere else.

Was very nice, had one issue with the sofa sleeper mattress being extremely uncomfortable but we were given a large air mattress which was much better. I would get a larger unit if all guests are adults, but that was my fault, just a recommendation for anyone traveling with all adults

The little security buttons to get through the gates of the pool and beach were annoying at first, but we got use to it. Probably best in the long run. As before the place was clean, comfortable and well stocked. The view of the Gulf each morning makes this place a gem. Try it, you'll like it. As over the years, Bender was great to work with.

If you're looking for bad, you won't find much here. This unit is used by the owners quite often, so it's nicer than your run-of-the-mill rental. Clean, well supplied, great view, great location. The new exterior patio doors are tinted and insulated, very nice. The building is getting secured WIFI, per the installer. Get up in the morning and look over the beach and water, it's great!! And again, Bender was great to work with.

Our stay in 8C was very enjoyable. The decor was very pretty and I was delighted with it. There are a few things that I felt needed attention though. The sliding glass doors on the balcony 'really' need some vertical blinds. The glare from the sun coming straight in to the living room was very bad and we had to sit with our backs to the porch to be able to see the tv screen. Also, there is no privacy at all in the master bedroom b/c of the lack of any kind of door. The people in the living room had to go to the other bedroom if they wanted to watch tv. Because of those two relatively large issues I will not be staying at this unit in the future. I hope that these two important issues can be rectified b/c the unit is very nice with upgraded appliances in the kitchen as well. The only thing the kitchen was lacking in was a decent teflon coated skillet. There is a little one but it's very scratched up. A little clock in the bedroom would be a plus as well. Thank you for a beautiful stay. I've been staying at Gulf Tower for over 30 years and love it.

The bed in the second room was hard and uncomfortable. And the Wi-Fi would keep dropping. Lastly the cable system sucked. None of the channels would go inside with the tv guide. Other than that, the condo was amazing.

Overall satisfied with our stay. It was in a great location. The unit had lovely decor but could have been cleaner. The refrigerator/ freezer smelled strongly of fish, keeping us from storing our food in it. The king mattress was broken down on one side making it slightly uncomfortable. The staff was very welcoming and helpful.

Very nice condo, pictures look just like the inside of condo.
Very spacious & comfortable. It had everything we needed for
a great stay. Pool was clean & the walk to the beach

This unit is cozy, very comfortable and decorated in a beach theme. Bender Realty was wonderful to work with and you couldn’t ask for a better location and condo layout. We particularly enjoyed the master bedroom off the balcony, as we were able fall asleep to the sound of the waves and waking up to beautiful sunrises. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we could ask for. Although the condo is a little dated we found it to be very comfortable and inviting. The ceramic (wood pattern) floors are beautiful, however very hard on the feet. After a week, both my husband and I had sore feet. It would be nice to have some area rugs both in the living room and bedroom. The pool is clean and nice to have so close to the elevators. The beach is beautiful with rentable chairs/umbrellas. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed staying in this condo and will be back again! PROS: Beautiful location, great beach and comfortable condo. CONS: The ceramic tile floors are very hard on the feet. Although the floor was well swept when we arrived, it was still very dirty. Five minutes walking without our shoes, our white socks were black. Other than the floor, everything else was clean. Unfortunately this unit does not have Internet. You have to go to the clubroom to get it.

This was a family get together and we had a great time! The condo's are right on the beach. There is a wood walkway that goes from the pool right to the beach. The condo had a "sea side" feel from the colors of the walls to the decorations.

Enclosed balcony great. Hall toilet has problems. (we avoided it) Owner should invest in small repairs & updating. My priorities of clean linens (enough of them), convenient kitchen, and no bugs get 5 stars. The common areas well kept. Pool pristine. Dirty old grills outside. We hoped this would be a place to stay for a month or more this winter, but no. Shopworn is a good word to describe the condo. No internet wasn't a problem for a few days, but the inconvenience of using common room would be longer term. I felt safe & can say for sure the smoke alarm works (from cooking) & there are sprinklers. If you let Ginny at Bender know what you are looking for, she will find it. Will always call them.

Overall, we were very satisfied with the condo we stayed in at Gulf Towers and the excellent care that we received from the staff at Bender's. The condo was still in the process of being remodeled (which we knew) and the owners were doing a good job. The only complaint was the cleaning prior to our arrival. The floors in the high traffic areas were swept but the balance were dirty/sandy and when we opened the front slider door, the dust bunnies came out of hiding from under the bed and furniture. I think Bender management needs to do more quality control on their cleaning contractors.

We used this trip as a family get together. In all we had 32 staying at The Gulf TOWER. The only problems we had was the a/c in condo one of my sisters had and the a/c in the rec room was frozen. Still we had a wonderful time.

NICE LOCATION RIGHT ON THE BEACH WITH A BEAUTIFUL VIEW. ROOM WAS NICE BUT THE BEDS WERE VERY HARD AND UNCOMFORTABLE. The location of the property by the beach, with a wonderful view of the ocean, was just priceless. The room was very nice, well furnished, with a very nice balcony. Really enjoyed our condo. It had almost everything we needed...We were told that we would have WiFi in the unit but the only place we could get it was on the balcony. That worked for us, but was a little disappointing when we arrived. Benders was a wonderful company to work with. We got immediate response to any problem we had. The residents of the condo were very friendly and we got together once a week in the community room. We really enjoyed our visit here.

My only complaint was when we first walked into the condo, there were stains on the carpet. I had read that there was new carpeting installed last year and had hoped for better. However, the view was to die for. The last morning there, my wife and I woke up early and could see dolphins swimming and jumping. Also the condo is just down the road from Bender Realty and close to good eating places and shops.

We were pleased with the condo unit.Looks like the furniture is fairly new and had two really nice tv's to watch.Kitchen had just about anything you would need to cook and eat with.Pool area is nice and had a large sitting area and the water in the pool was actually warm.The only things we did not like was the parking area which seemed a little cramped especially if you had a full size truck/suv and we did not care for the "inside balcony" as you never got the feeling of sitting on your balcony at night listening to the ocean.We would rent this unit again.

I really liked 8C however, the AC was a little underpowered. We had to buy a fan to keep the bedroom cool enough. The AC was probably designed for the square footage excluding the newly renovated ocean viewing porch. Most of these units allow you to close
the door to the porch. This keeps the unit much cooler. We usually stay at 5c and that unit is definately cooler. If nothing else ceiling fans in the bedrooms would help. Either way we enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful time in Gulf Shore. During our stay, we were blessed with perfect weather!
The Good: Gulf Towers is a great place to stay! Very homey! Plenty of room. Great view of the Gulf and beaches from the balconey. Very close to restaaurants and shops and public parks and beaches. Great bech at Gulf Towers. Clean Pool!Well furnished. Kitchen with all amenities. Property very clean!
The Bad: Beds are very uncomfortable. We tried sleeping on both bed and found them substandard for us. Ended up sleeping on hide-a-bed couch! Much more comfortable but still a hide-a-bed!
We would come and stay again in a heart beat but would bring with us a sheet of plywood to place between mattress and springs.

Good news! All new beds in both bedrooms, replaced in April 2011.

Nice place to stay. Property clean and in good condition. Don't have anything bad to say about the proverty or Bender staff.

we have stayed at gulf tower for many years. we prefer it because it is a small building with pool and access to the beach right outside the pool area. we have stayed in several of the units including the top floor (penthouse). we stayed in a larger building on one occasion (islands east) but we prefer gulf tower because of it's size and homey feel. it is always clean and well kept. we always enjoy our stay at gulf tower!
