Description

"Gulf Tower 7C, located at 1051 West Beach Boulevard, is a two bedroom, two bathroom condo with expansive beach front views. The master suite contains a king size bed while the guest room has a queen size bed and there is a sleeper sofa in the living room for added accommodation space. Three last screen TVs, a DVD player and WiFi within this condo are sure to keep you connected and entertained throughout your stay. The glass enclosed balcony open up to the amazing views and allows a lovely gulf breeze to blow through your home away from home. There is a full kitchen as well as washer and dryer in this unit for your convenience.

Gulf Tower is in a prime Gulf Shores location. 1.5 miles from the popular Hangout and public beaches and 3 miles to the Gulf State Park & Pier. Not to mention the proximity to all the best dining and shopping this island has to offer! With its amazing beach front location access to the our white sandy beaches is a breeze! Aside from the fantastic coastal views, there is also an outdoor pool, BBQ grills, exercise room and free WiFi in the Club Room for your use and pleasure. This location does have an elevator for ease of access throughout the building.

Our stay was close to perfect! We spent lots of time on that glorious deck and used the kitchen every day. My only complaints were the bed was a little firm and there were no corn holders for the shrimp boil. Other than that we had the most relaxing vacation ever.

Kitchen was furnished well. Loved the new coffee maker. Some furniture in the bedrooms and living room could use replacing. Sleeper sofa mattress was poor quality and not useable. You could feel every spring in it when you laid down on it. There were some very dirty spoons left in the drawer when we arrived and one toilet was not completely cleaned. There were at least 3-5 lightbulbs needing to be replaced in the unit and some of the outlets only had one plug in that worked. It was a learning curve to figure out how to use pool fob and devices to enter and exit the pool area. No signs. Guests were kind and helpful. No guidance on where to take trash from room either. We figured it out. Location is great but the beach is very very short. We were told by authorities we couldn’t use our tent on the beach, and we did not bring our umbrella this year. No signs regarding no tents either. Overall we did enjoy our time there despite these things. Kids loved the pool, ocean water was great, it’s close to restaurants and stores, and the other guests were very kind and friendly. We may return to Gulf Shores, but we would choose another condo next time.

Overall, very good. Condo needs a good cleaning and decluttering. Too many knickknacks, they don’t really serve any purpose. Every thing on the balcony needs to be replaced, furniture is old and not really comfortable. The table on the balcony is a necessity, that’s where we spend the most of our time when we’re in the condo!

Great experience! Friendly staff! The condo was ready before we got there and they called and let us know we could check in early. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. The balcony was amazing with awesome views! Saw dolphins, sharks and stingrays, would definitely stay here again!

We have stayed in a lot of rental condo’s over the years and this one has been the best. Everything was clean, beautiful decor, and our favorite was the balcony. Being able to set on the balcony with a choice to open the sliding doors or keep closed was our favorite room in the condo. Bender Reality made our visit good, they are very knowledgeable about the area and things to do . They were very cordial. Absolutely loved being on the beach front walking distance to the beach.

The last time we visited Gulf Shores was 48 years ago. The beach front has really changed. Reminded us of Myrtle Beach. We had a wonderful visit staying in a 7th floor, ocean front condo. The unit was in a convenient location and in great condition. We definitely would stay at this unit again.

Awesome 5 days in this condo with everything needed. Could not have been more pleased. Bender Realty handled every aspect with perfection from booking to check out. This was our 3rd time using them. The staff at Bender Vacation Rentals were so pleasant and made the reservation and check in process so easy. We were able to find parking and carts for unpacking. The pool area was clean and the beach access was well maintained. We enjoyed the sun room and being able to eat or read while listening to the waves. The unit was just SO crowded with furniture and stuff. The sunroom had a glass table with 4 wicker chairs plus two wicker recliners and two bookcases. The living room was kind of packed together because of the large glass table and 6 chairs in the dining area. And then there were fake plants and baskets everywhere. Now the bedrooms were fine and had drawer space and closet space as needed. However the bed in the guest bedroom was noisy and not that comfortable. The toilet in the front bathroom would run and we had to adjust the chain each time. Everything worked in the kitchen and we were able to cook meals. The washer and dryer were small but worked well.
Basically it was a great vacation condo but could use some decluttering and updating for furniture and fixtures.

The property was as photographed. The space was clean and comfortable. The view and beach were both beautiful. There was more than enough space (not too crowded) and we were there the week before Easter. We didn't hear the neighbors. The kitchen was well stocked with older dishes, glasses, pots and pans, etc. The kitchen was lacking in measuring cups and spoons, and sharp knives; we got by with what we had. The pool area was cleaned every morning. We spent most of our time on the beach. The condo had it's own beach chairs and umbrella. The washer and drier were wonderful to have since we had wet bathing suits and towels every day.

Matt's Icecream was the best. We got take out once and ate in the rest of the time.

The condo was clean and functional. More pots and pans than we could possibly use. Surprised there was no garbage disposal and the bathroom ventilation could be improved. Extra parking is sorely needed for visitors. Would recommend this condo except for the parking issue.

Gulf Tower is a wonderful place from which to enjoy the winter. Its private, beach front balcony is perfect for Gulf-watching on inclement days. While we are unable to change Gulf Tower's parking policies, we are always willing to assist our guests with parking in our office lot.

We were extremely happy with the location. There were a number of good places nearby to eat. We especially enjoyed the "glass enclosed" balcony. We had a great view of the Gulf. The condo was nicely decorated and the kitchen was well stocked.

This was the 2nd year that we stayed in 7C. Great view, very clean and well furnished. We love eating dinners on the balcony watching the sunsets. The building has a heated pool as well.

The unit was clean. Had all the things like coffee maker, pots and pans, dishes and things we needed. But for a recently redone unit the mattresses on both beds were not good. My friend complained that her bed slanted and she felt like she would roll off.

Overall , this is an excellent Vacation Condo. Great beach view. The enclosed balcony is very nice. The Condo is being well maintained by it's owners. The one change this year that I do not like is the "Scanner"that is required to enter the pool area. This is a major inconvenience and 2 scanners are not enough if you have 4 people in your group.

Pretty enjoyable, great weather, very friendly and helpful staff. We love staying in the Gulf Shores area. Our condo has a couple of problems to consider, the sliding door from the living room to the balcony, the rollers on the bottom are worn out it was hard to open and close the door. The security to and from the pool area and to and from the beach access was an inconvenience having to use the fobs. We heard other negative comments about this as well.

I'm comparing this one to others we've stayed in. We found it neat, clean, well stocked and a very comfortable lounge chair. I'll will miss my lounger. Secure high speed internet. The new patio doors with tinted glass are much nicer. The bed was comfortable and plenty of storage space. As always Bender Realty was great to work with. But... the vertical blinds really need repair or replacement. We were very pleased.

This was an excellent Condo on the beach. Great beach and ocean views. The condo was in excellent condition. We love the enclosed balcony. The condo has been well maintained by the owners. The pool has a very large deck which we loved. There is an Exercise Room with good equipment overlooking the pool and beach which adds to the enjoyment of your workout. The only negative to this Condo is the limited on-site parking of one auto per condo.I highly recommend this condo.

Was looking for a quick get away with the wife and kids before school started back and we had a wonderful stay. Gulf Tower 7C was perfect for us. More than plenty of room for us 4 (2 kids) Great location, just far enough that your not in a congested area of traffic but only about a mile or so drive / walk and your right in the mix of it all. Our condo had absolutely all you would need. Overall we had such a great time, had recharged the batteries to head back to work and school.

The accommodations were fantastic and just as described online. The enclosed patio provided my wife with a beautiful place to quilt for family members and provided an awesome and relaxing view. The condo was well equipped & very clean. We look forward to staying here again.

Excellent week in Unit #7C at the Gulf Tower. The unit has been well maintained by the owners. We loved the enclosed balcony . Excellent working flat screen TV's in the living room and both bedrooms. The Gulf Tower is conveniently located to all area attractions.

Awesome place. There is some mildew in this unit. Lots of it on the ceiling in the master bedroom and some in the dining room. Everything else was great.

Great view, great location, clean condo , master bed very comfortable , 2nd bedroom mattress is awful. Elevators were slow and seemed to be one of them out of service at all times but really wasn't a big deal. Bender reality staff is very friendly and easy to work with. Great week for our family, all and all, very satisfied.

The experience with Bender Realty was wonderful. Check in and out processes were very simple and fast. The property was in good condition and as described. The only issues we had were nothing to do with Bender. The property only allows one parking pass and is VERY strict. The third adult in our party was dropped off each night because he could not park his vehicle on site as we had the parking pass. The person patrolling the parking lot was rude and unfriendly. I assume she was employed by Gulf Tower and not Bender. Since we usually travel with another family, I probably won't be able to stay at this property again. However, I would not hesitate to book any other property through Bender.

We loved the fact that the condo was right on the beach. It also had a screen and sliding door which made it easy for the granddaughter to go out on the patio to watch the waves. The only problem we encountered was the sleeper sofa had a spring missing but even after we got it open, my daughter was not able to sleep on it because the springs were sticking her through the cover. So she folded it back up.

We had a great trip! The condo was nice and clean! Bender realty was nice and helpful. I did not like that I could only get one parking pass when the parking lot was half empty the whole week we where there and the sofa sleeper was to uncomfortable for my kids to sleep on so I had to buy a air mattress but other than that everything was good.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our vacation experience at Gulf Tower. We scheduled a last minute trip to the beach to pick our youngest daughter up from cheer camp and decided to stay a few extra days. The room was extremely clean. We loved the layout of the condo. The condo was very spacious. Plenty of room to move around in the bedrooms and lots of storage space. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. There was plenty of seating in the den. Our families favorite part about this trip was the covered patio area. Mawmaw is 83 and had just got out of the hospital, so we convinced her to go on the trip so we could keep an eye on her. She sat on the patio all day and watched everyone of the beach, the waves and the dolphins. It was a great experience for her. Thank you for sharing the condo with our family.

We have been staying this condo at least twice a year for many years now. Last year the tubs had rings and grime and the sheets were not clean and I had to clean them myself. Also a maintenance man had a key and tried to let himself in but we had the latch on door so he couldn't get in. We told him to leave. Last week's visit was disappointing in that the tv cable wasn't hooked up in wall and we couldn't use the tv and told Bender about it. We pick this particular condo b/c of the extra tv and we weren't notified that it wasn't working. Mgmet. politely blew me off when I called about it. Otherwise it's a lovely condo.

We came to Gulf Shores for a wedding. It was a quick trip and I have never been before. I enjoyed my stay our room had a beautiful view. A little out dated looking but it was what I expected for the amount I paid. The only down side was that both of the beds in the condo were like sleeping on a marble slab. The couch was actually more comfortable. We were not able to use the fold out portion of the couch because it had a bad slant once unfolded. We brought a blow up matress so that worked well. Thank you for making our stay enjoyable wish we could have stayed longer!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much. However, there were a few positive and negative aspects worth mentioning:

The Good:
1) The beds were well sized and comfortable (except for the fold-out sofa! The sofa was comfy but the bed inside was horrendous)

2) Lots of storage space in the closets and dressers.

3) The appliances were in good working order, although the several decade old electric mixer could stand to be upgraded (we made a cake!).

4) Then there were the little things, like wine glasses, beach chairs, and ceiling fans, which made the stay super enjoyable


The Bad:
1) The lack of wireless internet access in the unit was, for us, extremely inconvenient. When coupled with the generally poor wireless phone reception in the area, it actually created a real problem when we needed connect with people back home.

2) The kitchen was well stocked as far as glasses, silverware, casserole dishes, and mixing bowls were concerned. However, the pot selection was lacking. I suggest that the aging non-stick pots/pans be traded in for modest, but good quality, heavy bottomed stainless versions.

3) The location of the BBQ grills leaves something to be desired. The corner of the parking lot wedged between a wall and the traffic lane is not exactly the most romantic culinary location.

4) The pool seems a bit on the small side for the number of units. On several occasions there were upwards of 15-20 people in the pool.

5) The walkway from the pool to the beach is delineated by a pair of falling fences. It's really uncomfortable and quite dangerous. Please fix.

This property was very good overall. The condo was clean and the screened in balcony made it possible to enjoy the beach without being on the beach. Downsides were that our upstairs neighbors were incredibly loud at night, making it difficult to sleep and the matresses were very hard. Overall though, very positive.

I have been staying at Gulf Towers every year for almost 20 years. This last visit I was very disappointed that the sheets on both beds were dirty and both tubs had dirty rings around them. When I got there I had to wash and dry all the sheets and scrub the tubs. I paid extra for cleaning as the person before me did - and whoever was "supposed" to clean this condo did a horrible job. Also, in the last few years or so a "parking" fee was tagged on to the bill which I feel is taking advantage of the renters who pay plenty enough for the rental. I feel taken advantage of.

The condo was very nice and the location was great. The exterior hallways were very run down and dirty. The check in/out process was annoying for several reasons. We checked in late and the night operator had a hard time finding our reservation, then was unclear on what paperwork I needed to take; we had to return to the office the next morning to check in, again, and then the return the following day to check out. Seems that whole process could be streamlined. Overall had a great time!

The condo was just as described with a (more than)fully furnished kitchen, comfortable furniture and tastefull decorations. I especially loved the seating on the balcony. We loved sitting on the enclosed patio listening to the waves on the beach. Our 3 day stay felt like a week long get away. Glad we made the trip.

This is our 4th stay at Gulf Towers. We love the unit that we have stayed in...the beautiful pool area...and you can't beat the view !!!!

We especially liked the balcony (lanai), which was equipted with books, games and comfortable patio furniture and table and chairs for dining or playing games. If there would have been a recliner or lounge chair, I probably would have slept out there! It was great and we were lucky enough to have a full moon during our visit. The only drawback to the condo was the outside Bar-B-Q area, which was in the corner of the parking lot in front of the condo. Why couldn't it be incorporated into the pool area, which was very plain?

This was our 2nd stay in this particular condo and everything was as it was the first time.. perfect. The only thing we noticed, and it was a little disappointing, was that they changed the mattresses. The former sets were perfect... the new ones were a little too hard.

I feel the new charge for parking is unnecessary and more trash bags should be given out. These bags are inexpensive and it would be in the best interest of the owner for the condo to stay clean.
