Description

Edgewater 43, located at 1001 West Beach Boulevard, is waiting for you and your family to come on a fantastic beach vacation! This classic two bedroom, two bathroom condo will have you in relaxation mode as soon as you step foot in the door. The master suite contains a queen size bed while the guest room has two twin beds, accommodating four guests. With three TVs, three DVD players and WiFi, you are sure to stay connected and entertained while you are away. The beach front glass enclosed balcony is an incredible spot to soak in the sights and sounds of the Gulf of Mexico and is accessible from both living room and master suite. Eating in is a breeze with the fully stocked kitchen and keeping up with laundry is easy with the washer and dryer in the unit!

Edgewater is in a prime location to experience all Gulf Shores has to offer when it comes to dining, shopping and recreation! This property is not only beach front with quick and easy access to the beautiful white sandy beaches, but it also has a great outdoor pool. There is a BBQ grill for your use and an elevator for ease of access.

We enjoyed our stay in January and February 2024. We love the balcony that can be opened or closed to enjoy the sound of the surf and the beautiful view of the Gulf. The unit could use some updates but had been freshly painted. The showers had very low water pressure. Bender provided great service. The location is great, convenient to restaurants and shopping.

The unit was clean and well appointed. It wasn't missing anything that you would expect to find in a household. Complex was quiet and relaxing. Only negative was the elevator was a little slow so I routinely took the stairs since we were only on the 4th floor.

In 2019 we rented the same condo Edgewater 43. We walked in and right off the bat we heard the waves crashing on the shore and from that moment on we were sold.
This year we had a broken towel rack but they fixed it that day and the air froze up
Which may need a bit of coolent but over all we love they place and have great memories there! Thank You Bender! Terry Williams

We showed up early in the morning around 7 a.m. the guest before us left at 10 and they have the room ready by noon which was wonderful. The management was great and professional and very kind. Only downfall was that a few things needed to be fixed like one part of the ceiling and I couldn't figure out the washing machine.

Great stay! We really enjoyed the enclosed balcony and the close proximity to the beach. Based on other reviews, we brought foam mattress pads for the twin beds and were really glad we did. We also really enjoyed the book selection and ended up reading several books that were there, rather than what we brought. We'd love to come back in the Fall or Spring.

This was our families third stay in an Edgewater condo, and we were not disappointed. We love the central location of Edgewater, and 43 work just great for us. Though I will add the complex is starting to show some age.
Bender was great to work with and even let us check in earlier which was very appreciated after a 16 hour drive.
The only drawback for our family was "Cindy" who kept us out of the Gulf for a good part of our trip... Looking forward to returning.

We love Edgewater, mostly because the enclosed balconies allow us to enjoy the sights and sounds of the ocean no matter what the weather. This unit is a new one to us, but we thoroughly enjoyed. The owner has made extra effort to provide usable furniture in the balcony area. Bathrooms, esp the master bath, could use a refresh.

We enjoyed our stay at Gulf Shores. The condo seemed like it could use a few upgrades, like the kitchen ceiling. Everything worked but was in moderately used condition. Not really any complaints other than the price, but we were there during peak season, I guess. Some schools of jellyfish caused people to have to come out of the water for a while during our trip. All in all nice trip, and very nice views from the glassed in patio.

Experience in Gulf Shores was great. A few things in the condo need updating (doors, appliances, tv, etc). This was our 7th trip to Gulf Shores/Orange Beach and this particular condo rates low on the list. Will probably try a different condo next time. Overall we had a good time due to the location

This was my first trip to a beach and I absolutely loved it. Great beach access, nice people, bbq pit, pool side swings, dolphins most mornings and everything you could need as far as home. It was a bit dated but I actually enjoyed it more that way. It was more comfortable. I would definitely go back to this room. The guest book in the room is great to see other guests memories. It is close to various restaurants, shops and conveinent stores. I can't express how much I loved my room/trip.

The unit was a little outdated but still a great location and was clean. I would recommend that there be noted that there are no beach supplies (ie:chairs, sand buckets etc) with the unit. Most others we have stayed in have those available.

The unit needs some updates but the view is spectacular so you almost do not even notice!! We enjoy the outside doors on the balcony so we can enjoy the outside even on bad weather days. The new boardwalk is a great addition.

We had a great vacation. The only thing I can think of is the condo needs ceiling fans in the bed rooms. Had to run the air way down to stay comfortable at night. Everything else was great.

The views were wonderful. Dolphins every morning. The master bathroom tub was very slow to drain and the doorwalls were hard to open. Short walk to the beach and the pool was very nice.

Really enjoyed our stay at Edgewater. It is a smaller unit (less occupants), so it was not crowded and very laid back. My only complaint (mainly for people with young kids) is that there is no bathroom down by the pool for guests. The bathroom is locked for owner use only.

This has been 3 of the last 4 years we have stayed at Edgewater at Gulf Shores. We love it there. Our favorite place to stay at out favorite vacation spot. It is an older condo, but it is very well kept. Always clean. Just steps from the beach. We will definitely go back again.

Bender Reality was wonderful to work with. The property itself was nice. The parking lot had cause for concern as the two drains on the property were not working and we had to walk through several inches of water. However, we contacted Bender Reality who contacted the property owner and that issue was cleared up with in a few days. Edgewater 43's amenities are very dated. The description states a "queen" size bed in the master bedroom, however it is "full" size. This was a big disappointment and caused both my husband and I to not sleep well as the bed was just too small. Several other items which were cause of concern: 1) toilets in both bathrooms were slow to flush; 2) ceiling in kitchen was old and one portion was coming unattached; 3) the large door in the back was VERY difficult to open and close; 4) furniture in living area was ok, however the bedrooms were dated and the quality was cheap.

Bender Realty made everything so easy. The condo we rented was very nice and clean. Beautiful view, close to beach and restaurants. Only comment is it needs a little TLC-faucet in kitchen leaks;faucet in bathroom 2 leaks; the washer/dryer seem to be limping along as best they can.We will vist Gulf Shores again using Bender Realty.

This was my 4th time to stay @ Edgewater. Normally I am there with girls from our family. This time was with husband and best friends. We loved the balcony and just relaxing. The only negative this time was the brown stuff washed up all over the beach. I had never seen this before. We had told our friends (first time to Gulf Shores) how clean the beach was and was very disappointed in that. Why don't they clean the shores when this stuff washes up? Everything else was great. We will be back!!!!

We had a wonderful stay at the Edgewater. The location was great - easy walking distance to resturants, shops, and the Shrimp Festival site. Making arrangements with the Bender staff was very simple and fast; check-in and check-out required minimal time.

My family of 6 had a wonderful time at this condo. The location was great and the room is right next to the elevator. It only took us one minute to pool and two minutes to the beach. It was so nice to look out from the condo balcony and see the pool and beach. I was surprised that so many people left their items on the beach to return to it the next day.

This was a great place to stay. The pool came in handy because of the rip currents and was very clean. The direct beach access was great along with the views. Very family oriented. Pretty quiet.

Our biggest complaint about the Edgewater Complex is that there is no bathroom downstairs by the pool. We had to keep going back up to the condo to use the restrooms. Also, none of the curtains were light-blocking. I had to go buy a sleep mask so I could sleep past 6am. Other than that, the condo was very clean and had everything we needed.

This past year was our 5th year staying at Edgewater. It was a year with problems. Getting in to our condo was delayed until February because of work being done on the building. When we did get into the condo we had problems with the elevator. We literally had to carry our things down 4 flights of stairs the day we were moving out.

Verify the WiFi is working properly. Also, make sure when it does work you don't have to go to a dresser in the bedroom to see if you can connect. Other than that the property and unit were in good shape.

We liked the location and closeness to the beach very, very much- couldn't ask for more! However, the furniture in our room was a little old and there were a few amenities (i.e. hairdryer) that were lacking- though nothing major that we couldn't do without. There was a loveseat on the balcony that clearly should be indoors that smelled really bad- had to stay away from that end. Overall, though, we'd definitely stay here again and probably will. Thanks for a great getaway!!!

This is our 5th year in Gulf Shores and our 4th year in Edgewater 43. Obviously we are comfortable here. The condo is modest and could use some updating but it is clean, you cannot beat the view, the building is well maintained and we have snowbird friends that also come back to Edgewater.

The beaches were beautiful and the water was crystal clear. We really enjoyed the family atmosphere at the complex. This was our first time staying at the Edgewater. Had a blast.

Obviously, we like Edgewater 43 as this was our third year in this condo. Edgewater 43 is a modest condo but it is very clean and meets all our needs. Our view is breathtaking!

We like the location in Gulf Shores. We are very close to many excellent restaurants. We feel very safe here and the building and grounds are well maintained.

Bender Realty is excellent to work with, polite, helpful and friendly.

We would highly recommend Edgewater 43 to our friends.

We are looking forward to our return in 2011.

Wonderful. Closer to the water than most of the condos.
Condo very clean. The king size bed needs to have a better fitting sheet.
Condo needs a large non-stick skillet. I am glad I brought mine from home.
Will certainly stay there again.

This is our 2nd year at Edgewater 43.
It is a very comfortable condo and meets all our needs. We are coming back for a third time next year. There are just a few recommendations we would have.

1. The condo could use just a few new items. New waste baskets in the bathrooms (the ones in there now are cracked) New throw rugs in the kitchen, bathrooms, entry way and patio. (the current ones are worn and dirty) There is no broom in the condo. My neighbor lent me one.The dustpan was very rusty so I replaced it. The vacuum cleaner does not pick up well.
2. I really appreciate having screens on the patio doors but they do need some maintenance. Having screens on the doors are important to me.
3. This is just a splurge request - a little tv in the 2nd bedroom. Every 2 bedroom condo that we had been in while we were here had tv's in both bedrooms.

My family and I stayed at Edgewater 43. IT was very clean and convenient. The staff of Bender Reality was very helpful and very friendly people. We will be back and we will use Bender Reality again. It was the best vacation ever. We just wish we could of stayed longer.

I'm a mother of 5 and this was my first trip without kids and first time to Gulf Shores. Also have never stayed in a condo before. The trip was great, we couldn't find a place to stay, called Bender Realty and they had me ready in about a hour. They were great, the place was clean, pretty, and a great price thanks for everything!

The condo was very clean and comfortable and is located right on the beach. Bender Realty, Inc. was terrific to work with. The staff is very courteous, helpful and very promt to respond to any questions/concerns. We were so happy at Edgewater 43 that we rented it again for January and February 2009.

I have stayed at the Edwater # 43 several times, and absolutely have enjoyed the room. I love the enclosed balcony with glass sliding doors from the living room and from the master bedroom to the balcony.
