Description

"Clearwater 6D, located at 517 East Beach Boulevard, is a serene beach front condo that has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, hallway bunk beds (for children only please!), and a sleeper sofa. This unit can accommodate 6 people comfortably. The master suite has a nice big king size mattress and the guest suite contains a queen size mattress. With three flat screen TVs, three DVD players and WiFi you are sure to be kept entertained and connected throughout your stay. There is a full kitchen as well as both washer and dryer in the unit adding to the comfortable and useful amenities! Take some time to relax on your private beach front balcony and soak up all the Gulf of Mexico has to offer!

Clearwater is a low density complex with a beautiful beach front location making beach access a breeze. Other amenities of this location are an outdoor pool, BBQ grills, and an elevator for ease of access within the building. Clearwater is right near the Gulf State Park and less than a mile from The Hangout and public beaches. With the Gulf State Park being just down the road, you have access to beautiful hiking and biking nature trails, golf, the 1,540 ft fishing pier and many other things! This spot gives you the feeling of calm, quiet and seclusion but with quick and easy access to all the best dining, shopping and recreation that Gulf Shores has to offer.

The Condo 6D was eye clean but after unpacking, our white socks we were wearing were dirty(black) from walking around the condo. I mopped the entire condo floors. Toaster did not work. Dryer took at least 3 cycles(didn't matter what cycle we used)to dry the minimal clothes. Washer back up with sand on one of our wash cycles. Combo key pad did not work when we checked in. The amount of extension cords plugged into the outlets are a big fire hazard(I am a retired Fire Fighter). The area under the sinks in both bathrooms and kitchen were not clean and had to clean them in order to put any items under there. Batteries in the thermostat needed to be changed and the remotes in both bedrooms had issues. Other than the Condo we did like the Clearwater Building and location.

The condo was a nice one, needed some updates. It definitely had a musty smell. We had a family of 6 and didn't feel crowded at all. The tvs wouldn't work, something to do with the cable connection. Bender sent the cable people over quickly and within the day the tvs we're working again. I would have liked the bunk beds to be made up. There were no sheets on those. The dryer was very very slow to dry, we finally had to hang everything out on the balcony and air dry. Also the master bed squeaks so a rug or something under it would go a long way. The beds were very very comfortable too!
It's older building with 8 floors ,but that means lesser people at the pool. We spent a lot of time at the pool. It is a nice size. The condo has direct access to the beach which was great! We went back and forth from the beach to the pool several times. It is within walking distance to sea and suds restaurant but if you want to go the the Hangout it's pretty far down to walk to.
All in all it is a decent place to stay, and we had a great vacation.

We were pleasantly surprised to see new living room furniture (pictures are not updated). It was all very comfortable. Plenty of room for our family of 4. The ladies at Bender were great and answered all of my questions before our stay. It would have been nice to know about the "no rafts/floats" in the pool before we came but overall it was a great vacation and a great location. We will definitely be back to Clearwater 6D

We’ve stayed here before and like the location. There needs to be updated photos as the furnishings have changed...doesn’t look like the pictures.

My wife and I spent two months in this unit. Due to the hurricane closures, this was the first time we'd stayed at this condo complex and the first time to use Bender Realty. We were very satisfied with the unit and with the management company. The property has a gorgeous view and is very comfortable. We highly recommend it and will be returning there ourselves.

This is the 2nd year in a roll that we have stayed at Clearwater Condos. The unit we stayed in was nice, not as nice as the first one. The unit was stocked with everything you need. Just bring your stuff and food and your all set. We will be back. One complaint or suggestion, don’t paint the condo during peak season.

Bender was very easy to communicate with and was always prioritizing the guest’s stay. Washer and dryer were slightly outdated but luckily there was a great patio that doubled as a drying rack while viewing the ocean :)

This rental was in the perfect location and so convenient to everything . The rental is a prime location to enjoy Gulf Shores and 5 minutes from Orange Beach. It was extremely clean with all of the comforts of home. Quiet and comfy. Would recommend this condo for couples with kids, as well as couples without. Great view, just a few short feet from the beach. Terrific views from the balcony. Only a ten minute walk to the Pier and Gulf state Park. Owner's available and responsive to questions.!!! Will definitely stay here again.

The rental was in a great location and fit our needs. However the pool wasn’t very clean, the appliances could use an upgrade- the beds were awful. The elevator was broken on the day we left so carrying all our stuff down 6 flights of stairs was not ideal. The rental company was great and very helpful and friendly.

As always, we were totally satisfied with our condo. Everything was clean, in good condition and even had extra toiletries if we needed them. Our TV's gave us problems, no satellite service, etc. We were watching Hurricane Irma's approach to the Keys and could only get one TV to work. Staff at Bender (Alice,etc.) were great as always. Thanks, Bender for another great vacation!

Great condo, everyone that I spoke to at Bender was very nice!! Condo was clean, spacious and the ocean view was beautiful, the fact that it slept 8 was wonderful since we also had my in-laws staying with us and my 2 girls loved the bunk beds!!

Our rental experience was good. Helpful staff, easy to make payments etc. Location was great and easy access to the beach and local attractions. Parking was a little tight for a large SUV but we managed. The unit we rented overall was fine for our needs, but it could have used a good deep cleaning in our opinion, like blinds, cabinets, appliances. But overall, it was a fun vacation.

This Condo was very nice, comfortable and efficient. It is very conveniently located to the beach (literally right outside your door) and is roomy with comfortable beds. The view is fantastic. The furnishings were somewhat "tired" but overall it was very nice. The kitchen was nicely furnished with the exception of the can openers (the electric and handheld both need to be replaced.) We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend this unit. We had problems with the dryer while we were there and called the management company and they sent someone over immediately and fixed the problem.

Great beach front view! Condo was perfect for our family..we loved the bunks in the hall. We were there July 4th week and the view of the fireworks were awesome! Third time staying in this condo and I'm confident there will be more trips to come!

After spending a long time searching for a condo I finally just called Bender Realty and the helped me find what I was looking for within minutes. Very nice and accommodating.
We stayed in Clearwater 6 D and it was great for us. We have 2 adults and 4 kids 8 and under. There was plenty of room. My kids loved the hall bunk beds! The kitchen had everything we needed. The balcony has a lovely view and the rail was tall enough it didn't make me nervous with the kids.
I recommend to families to bring extra toilet paper & dish washer detergent.
The condo was clean and in nice condition.
The beach was clean and perfect for us! We brought our own chairs and umbrella but there are lounge chairs and umbrellas to rent daily. We would rent this unit again.

Our vacation rental was very nice. It was clean and close to beach. The dryer took forever to dry clothes and we were disappointed there were no outside bathhouses. It just would have been easier with small children. Overall great experience. The management company was very friendly and caring.

This was our second stay at Clearwater through Bender Realty, first during spring break. Bender Realty once again was great to work with. The property was as advertised. Although Bender assured us that they do not rent to spring breakers, we did have some in the unit next to us. We were subjected to loud music and pot smoke coming from the balcony next door, and a group of young people banging on our door at midnight and various shenanigans with the college kids in the unit.

Nice location, elevator worked entire stay which it didn't previous year. Every thing needed for kitchen was there.

The condo was clean and well equipped. The view from the balcony Is spectacular. Easy access to the beach. Beds are comfortable. The only criticism is that furniture is a little dated but not enough to keep me from coming back next year.

Condo was good. Blinds in bedrooms did not close tightly enough to keep out light . That was disappointing. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

...at least this time of year. The property is marketed as being in a low density area. This being the main reason I chose it. The listing doesn't state that it's between two huge complexes which makes competition for space on the beach pretty stiff from people from the other property spilling over into our space. The unit itself was clean, nicely appointed and very spacious. All appliances were new and worked well. The beds weren't so comfy. The common areas of the building could use some cleaning and updating though.

We loved our vacation rental! It was very clean, quiet and had everything in the kitchen to cook! The decorations throughout the condo were so cute and our whole family loved it. You just walked right out to the beach and the pool was also, right there. The view of the beach was beautiful. This was our first visit to Gulf Shores and to rent a condo. We were so impressed and will definitely be back!! I would recommend this condo to anyone.

On calling to make a reservation I was disappointed in two men that I spoke to as my receipt only showed my down payment, with no balance or dates. I called again and the second man only sent me a paper with dates. I believe I should have been sent the complete cost, dates and balance due including that date. Next year I'll ask to speak to a lady.

great weather, perfect location....love the area! Condo served its purpose. Not to pick, but kitchen a bit outdated, bedroom side cooled differently than rest of condo; owners need to realize that even when away from home, wifi is still needed for work and play - - signal too weak. The sliding glass door was a bit stiff and the tiles need to be repainted outside. Also, some rules need to be reinforced. We had a few people hanging their beach towels and swimsuits off the balconies as well as people blaring music at the pool. Other than that, we were very happy with the accommodations and are considering staying again next year.

The Condo was very clean, the kitchen was stocked with every utensil/pot/pan you would ever need for preparing meals. It has been updated and all the furnishings, decorations were very nice.
The children enjoyed sleeping in the bunk beds and being able to walk right out of the Condo to the pool & beach. Located close to many restaurants and activities.
I would definitely recommend this Condo for families with children.

We thought the condo unit was very nice. The kitchen was very well equiped and the unit was nicely decorated. However it needed cleaned under the beds. A broom would have been nice to use while we were there, but one was not available. All in all, it was a very nice unit and the grounds were kept clean.

The condominium was fine, but the cleanliness was an issue. I immediately called the rental group and they sent someone out ASAP. The gentleman from the cleaning service was very nice and made sure all of my problems were resolved before he left. My only other issue was the elevator broke down one day, and it was difficult to carry items up and down from the 6th floor, but even with that a repair person was out fairly quickly and it was repaired by that evening.

Everything was great about the condo. Right on the beach, at the end of the condos, so not too crowded and great for our family with 2 small children. One bone to pick though: the wifi is useless. The router is set up in the hall over the elevator and the signal doesn't penetrate very far into the condo at all. As a matter of fact, you have to stay in the entrance hallway if you want to use the wifi. Further than that and it doesn't work. Don't depend on AT&T to save you either - the data signal for my iphone wouldn't work. I think it was because of the density of other iphone users in the area.

The internet was down at Clearwater during this stay. After being reported, we were able to reset it, and get it back up and running normally.

This condo is in major need of an update. The furniture was well worn and uncomfortable. There was food on the floor at the edge of the bed that we did not bring. The comforter in one of the rooms had a suspicious stain on it upon our arrival. However,
the location was great, and as always, Bender Realty made the check in and out process easy and quick.

I've stayed at plenty of locations along the Gulf Coast. This location is one of my favorites. A condo with not too many rooms so the beach isn't overcrowded. A pool on the beach side...a plus for the afternoon. The best of all: no tar balls! We stayed in the water for about an hour and didn't smell oil or see anything unusual.

We have stayed at this property several times. We love the location and the size of the facility. Although everything was in working order, it's obvious that there are some maintenance issues that should be taken care of. The elevator seems really old, there is a musty smell in the small elevator room on the ground level. Touch up paint would be nice too. Inside the condo, a nice, bright coat of paint is needed with some newer furnishings. The can opener did not work at all. These are just suggestions. We will still stay there again.

You are at the beach but you don't have all the trafic and little beach shops right in your face to deal with and not the usual "young crowd". We are already saving to come back agian. The condo was wonderful, we were all together but you had enough space to have a little breathing room. The condo was well supplied with all you need except food. This was a very nice place. Close to where we wanted to be and I would request this again. The only thing I would encourage you all to do is to check to carpeting in the bedrooms, looks like a major flood happened, Tile throughout might be better. Nancy W.
