Dreaming of a hassle-free Thanksgiving surrounded by good food, family, and sugar-white beaches? With a vacation to Gulf Shores and Orange Beach, all that and more is within reach!

Where to Eat

Here’s a list of Gulf Shores and Orange Beach Restaurants serving Thanksgiving lunch or dinner. Some require reservations, so be sure to call ahead!

What to Do

If you want to lounge in a beachfront condo, watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade from the comfort of a couch, and devour an entire pumpkin pie, Gulf Shores and Orange Beach can definitely accommodate that. However, if you’re looking for things do to during Thanksgiving weekend, there’s plenty waiting along the Gulf Coast.

For Black Friday shoppers, Tanger Outlets in Foley start the sales festivities on the evening of Thanksgiving Day. This outdoor shopping center includes upscale fashion stores, home and clothing name brands you love, as well as plenty of shoe stores, kids wear, local boutiques and bath and body stores. Let the sales begin!

For even more shopping, The Wharf will host Black Friday shopping plus Small Business Saturday. The fun doesn’t stop there! That weekend, your family can take a spin on the ice skating rink, plus have pictures with Santa!

If scouring outlets for steep discounts isn’t enough exercise for you, burn off that Thanksgiving turkey at the , Kaiser Realty by Wyndham Vacation Rentals Coastal Half Marathon 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run, which takes place the Saturday following Thanksgiving.

Where to Stay

If you think accommodations in a place like Gulf Shores and Orange Beach are out of budget, think again! For as little as $99/night, you and your family can be enjoying your post-turkey nap from a condo overlooking the sparkling Gulf of Mexico. Check out these options.
