  We had an excellant experience. All the families at the Sandpiper were extremely friendly. The staff at Bender was fantastic. We would like to say that our 32nd anniversary dinner at Wolf Bay Lodge was outstanding. We hope to return in the future!

  The only problem we incurred was the queen size bed. The mattress was not in good shape. You could actually feel the springs. Other than that we love the place. We will definitely be back again next year.

  Someone forgot to clean crumbs from top and front of stove (minor), patio furniture had been removed by other guests so could not enjoy the beautiful breezes and weather at leasure and had no luck with aquiring any even after calling rental office, and many cigarette buts had not been cleaned from private deck outside bedroom

  My family has stayed at the Sandpiper many times. We love it there. The units are in need of some updating, but we know that going in and it appears that they are updating over time. The property itself is wonderful. We love the fact that it is a low-rise building and we LOVE the people at Bender. They are FANTASTIC!

  Our family has spent the last 10 years out of 11 at Sandpiper for our family reunion and have enjoyed our stay here. This year there was a minor problem with the air conditioner but the mantinance man can out late in the evening and fixed the problem. The Bender Realty staff was very helpful and courteous and we had a great time. Looking forward to next year!

  We had a great stay in 13A. The facility was a place where it's easy to get to know your neighbors; the pool was nice and warm and the bech was very clean. We love Gulf Shores and will definitely be coming back to the Sandpiper.

  Bendor is wonderful to work with. Always helpful. The maintenance person was very helpful in returning our call and taking care of the issue.
  The mattress in the master bedroom really needs to be replaced immediately, very uncomfortable. Everything else was fine.

  The only concern we had was that they allowed guests to set up their cabanas in front of the rented beach chairs thus blocking our view and access to the water. We understand that other properties prohibit the cabanas from being placed in front of the line of rental chairs. This rule was either not in place or not enforced at Sandpiper. If other properties can enforce the location of the cabanas, we would think the Sandpiper could do so as well. Please consider making this a rule and thereby giving a copy of the rule to guests when they check in. Other than that, we love the Sandpiper.
