  The condo and view were great. The location was within walking distance to all the Shrimp Festival happenings. The temperature was perfect to sleep with the balcony doors open to hear the waves crashing onto the beach. Very relaxing vacation. Thanks to all for a great time.

  The Bender ladies were just wonderful and they were very easy to deal with. We have stayed in different Island Royale rooms over the years and even though this room was not the nicest, for the price it was fine. I would recommend Bender Realty & Island
  Royale to anyone. Great Vacation!

  Great place to stay. The view from the balcony was the best. Condo was very nice. It was clean and comfortable. The shower in the main bath worked well after we figured out to pull down from the faucet. My only complaint was the jets on the outdoor hot
  tubs did not work. I would definitely recommend this condo!!!!

  We stayed in Island Royale unit 1103 and while we please with the unit and the condo overall we did find that the shower in bedroom 1 didn't work which caused 5 people to have to share 1 shower and the shower that did work was a handicap shower which is fine but it could be removed but would fall on your head. We also did not like the fact that the pool stayed so cold all the time.If the sun wasn't on the pool it was like ice. Which the sun was only on the pool for about 2 hours each day. I would stay at this unit again if the showers were fixed.

  I have stayed in this same condo for 2yrs in a row and will come back. My mom and sister-fly have been coming for 4yrs now, all w/Bender Realty and 3yrs in same condo. My other sister rented another unit in the building this year at same time and we just loved every moment together on the beach and the location is great. I have recommened Bender to friends. We WILL return to Gulfshores next year and will use Bender again.

  I loved our stay at Island Royal. There are just a few things that need improvement. The elevator situation has not changed in years. We had to wait so long we took the stairs and we were high up. The refrigerator situation has not changed either and i felt like it took the condo a good day and a half to cool off as well. These are the things that i have experienced in the past and would like to see improvement on in the future. Other than that a great stay. Love Love Love Pier 33 store. I wish we could have gone up to the roof we did years ago what was up with that?

  The ONLY thing that I think was a little disturbing was the elevators. They had a tendency to not want to work. We did have to use the stairs a couple of times. No biggy really but it was HOT in the stairwell and going up and down from the 11th floor was extremely unpleasant!! But for the most part everything else was GREAT!!!

  I have to say it was so amazing! The rooms had perpect view's and the baclony was so large with two louge chair's and a table w/h 4 chairs. Bedrooms were so pretty and everything you needed was there, didn't have to walk but a minute or two to eat out or shop just across the street. And nightlife great as it get's. The Best place I have ever stayed in on the beach! You have to go to Bender realtor's on the Gulf of Alabama and get the best vacation ever! I will stay there again, GO Check it out!   Bender Realty did a great job! The only suggestion that I would make would involve the actual unit. #1103 had outdated tv's. The unit I stayed at last year had flat screens. Also the balcony tables, chairs were plastic. I would like to have seen a more sturdy units, similar to the unit I stayed in last year, # 903. If I have my choice I wouldn't choose 1103 again, but if it were the only one available I would. I do have to say the price point was a good deal, which is what made me decide on that unit.

  We enjoyed our stay at Island Royale. I was a little skeptical when I say the photos on line, but they did not do the condo justice. Everything was very nice and very clean which are two items that I always look for. I have been using another realty service in Gulf Shores for rentals, since we come down almost every year, but the service we received in the past has not been exactly favorable. The service, the hospitality and the one-on-one service we received at Bender was excellent. We will definitely use you again. As a matter of fact, I have already recommended you to a friend.   The pool is too small and only a small portion gets sun. The part that gets sun is shallow so all the loud kids and parents yelling at their kids are there. I stuck with the beach. I won't stay there again only because of the pool.

  We were very pleased with staying at Island Royale and have recommended this vacation to others. The location was great on the shore, it was extrememly quiet, the building well maintained. It made for a great and relaxing vacation. We were expecially pleased that there were very few college spring breaker kids. We were able to watch the sunrise and sunset from our balcony. Our only complaint was that the condo was really dusty when we arrived. There was a layer of dust on the TV, VCR, furniture and on the cooking utensils in the kitchen. Also, the carpet appeared dirty. From the guestbook in the condo, it looked as if the condo had not been used in about 4 months. We do plan to eventually return to Gulf Shores and will contact Bender Realty to help locate accomdations. Thanks!!!
