  Great location with a nice view. Was able to walk to most places we visited but far enough away from the Shrimp Festival traffic. Enjoyed the workout room. The unit could use a good cleaning as in the carpets and walls. The sheets on one of the twin beds were clean but stained and needed replaced. The screen door to the livingroom balcony is ripped. Had to clean under the stove top due to a huge overspill that was missed, which took care of the bad smell. Fuzzy air conditioner return vents. These things were minor issues & understandable after a long rental season. After these issues are addressed, the unit will not disappoint. This unit has a private/covered parking spot which is very close to the elevator and the boardwalk to the beach. Pier 33 convenience store is across the street and a very well hidden Walmart is around the corner on 180. If you love shrimp, go to Steamers behind Souvenir City and get a bucket of Red Royals! But don't dressed up, it can get messy. The Hangout was a good time and the Pink Pony is definitely adult only! Fun was had by all and we will return next year.... Cheers! As an aside, I came to know Bender Realty after Meyers tried to rent me a condo that was totally unexceptable. I stayed in a hotel the first night and Meyers called me the next morning & said they had nothing else available. I was 15 hours from home and homeless. Bender took very good care of us with a better condo at a better price. I was a Meyer customer for over 10 years, I was pleasant through the ordeal and totally shocked by their inability to offer me acceptable accommodations. Ask questions!

  We stayed in the penthouse for our children's fall break in October and had an awesome stay. The proximity to the beach is terrific and the wait for the elevator was never a problem. The indoor pool was quite useful when the wind on the beach became too strong. The staff at Bender was very friendly. The rental needed some work, but this did not take away from our trip. The screen on the balcony door was torn, all of the door stops were either broken or just barely hanging on, and the kitchen needed some pots and a griddle or something to cook on, but we are planning to stay again in April for the children's spring break.

  Overall we had a great time. This is the first time we used Bender and find the staff to be professional in all dealings. The condo was on the top floor of the building which we enjoyed.

  Love the location but it needed a few changes even w/o a tropical storm. The balcony ceiling plaster was coming off even before the storm, plus the screen door was torn before the storm too. Balcony furniture was nice. No bathmats in showers & tubs were
  slippery (we had a fall). No doorstops so entrance wall was damaged. Furniture was very nice just needed maybe another nice chair. A bigger TV in living area would be nice. Others were fine. Great indoor pool and hot tub area. Bender was great to bring a tub
  mat & blankets when requested.

  We had a wonderful time. The penthouse suite we stayed in was gorgeous. The furnishings were beautiful and we loved the large balcony. The full size laundry room was also great. The only negative was that the pool was small and shaded. We didn't spend any time as the pool because of this. Otherwise, everything was great.

  This was a great place to stay. Condo was very clean and right on the beach. This room was a little higher than expected, I think on the 16th floor which kind of surpised us, but provided a great view of the Gulf. My family wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

  The only thing that were lacking were the grills, which I understand per an owner are to be replaced and the pool which is small and on the west side of the building, not much sun. Still a great stay.

  We were moved to this condo after spending one night of a three day stayed in Clearwater 1A condo (not a pleasant place to stay). Condo was very nicely decorated and had an awesome view of the gulf. This condo has a great location real close to the main road into Gulf Shores

  We were very pleased with the condo itself and the staff at Bender Realty. Very clean, updated condo. Beaches on both sides were very crowded but ours was not due to the excellent location. We will be back for sure!!!

  I called and left a message with Bender Realty to have the housekeeper look for my pillow and flip flops that were left in the unit. I never heard back from anyone. I called the day after we checked out. I am dissappointed in that.

  Condo was great and worked well for my wife & me. Condo was very functional. Suggestions: Better lighting (Living/Dining Rm)/TV Listing (Bender had, but didn't provide)/Garbage dump not labeled (we took garbage downstairs 16 flrs until we figured it out. Would encourage Bender to provide an info packet to each guest with info (and more) as listed above. In general, we were very happy with P102 & for the most part with Bender. Bender could offer a "Thank you" when keys are returned, however. That being said, we will be contacting Bender to reserve again in the near future. Also, the Golf Package offered by Bender was a VERY good value & will be taken advantage of during our next visit to Gulf Shores.

  Not really being a "summer beach" person a stay at the end of October was perfect. No crowds, ideal weather, lots of sunshine and just warm enough to get wet. A very nice, comfortable suite made for a very relaxing time.

  The balcony view for fireworks on the 4th was wonderful! The condo was itself nicely appointed with all the essential cooking utensils, pots & pans, etc. Great location!
  
  The serious problem was that, for half our stay, only one of two elevators worked. Given the signs in the elevator and what we were told by staff and those who had been staying in the condo for at least a week, the elevators regularly break down -- a problem that is not being solved. This would prevent us from staying again at Isle Royale; and it would make me nervous about other properties that Bender rents.
  
  Note: it doesn't matter to me whether Bender or Meyer "manages" the property. The fact is that Bender rented it to our family; and, from the complaints I heard from others, Bender must have rented it with full knowledge of ongoing elevator problems.
  
  Note for owner: (a) Check your return air filter. (b) Check the garbage disposal; it may be partially clogged. (c) The condo has roaches.

  Our family really enjoyed our vacation at Island Royale P102. The accomodations were clean and pleasantly decorated. Island Royale is conveniently located and easy to find. The staff was very nice. We also liked having an assigned parking spot that was adjacent to the beach. We could just throw our beach stuff into the car instead of carrying it upstairs each time. We plan to visit again someday.

  Bender Realty was great and the property was as advertised. As we were only there for 2 nights, it would've been nice if paper towels, napkins and other items like that would've been in the kitchen for us. Otherwise, great place!
