  The condo unit itself was real nice. The G.V.condo association really needs to start work on the building. Plaster and concrete are falling off the stairs, paint is peeling off the doors and rails. I have stayed at Gulf Village many many times and just
  loved it. I'm sad to say I won't be back to G.V.until the place is fixed up again. That is a bad deal for your unit owners too.

  This trip was a last minute decision for us. We were concerned about not finding the kind of place you would normally find with pre-planning. The good folks at Bender changed that! Gulf Village was the perfect spot! Great stay and awesome location very close to anything you need.........and.......right on the beach!! Thank you to the great staff at Bender for making our short vacation perfect!!

• The property was a good location. The mattresses and box springs in the unit are in very bad need of being replaced, They are very soft and slumpy. Distance to the beach from the unit was very short.

  With the current oil spill there were only tar balls on the beach the first day but after that no tar balls and the beach was beautiful. No bad smell from the oil either

  We love Gulf Shores and Gulf Village. Our overall stay was great. However, I would recommend you check behind your cleaning staff. Unit was not very clean on our arrival. The floors were filthy and appeared they hadn't been swept or mopped in a while.

  We have used Bender several times in the past, have always been happy w/their service..they're always nice & helpful. Overall, the unit was clean. Only negative is that patio was covered w/cig ashes when we arrived, and the bulb was blown in the main bedroom. Also, the lounge chair on the patio is dry rotted & should be discarded or replaced. We will be back, and Bender will be our first call when we attempt to make reservations.

  The realty company may want to review the cleaning service. Upon arrival, the bathroom was not as clean as I would expect. For instance, there was hair in the bathtub, obviously not mine! The kitchen seemed to be clean,however I did prewash all dishes before using them. Otherwise, we had a great vacation.

  On our last night of our vacation I locked my purse in the unit. Unfortunately we had already turned in the keys to unlock the door. I was extremely impressed on how quickly the property manager came to my rescue and opened the door. I was so thankful and completely satisfied with the service that I am already on planning my next stay Spring Break of 2009.
