The unit was very clean, but extremely dated. The bedding was very old, no blankets and few pillows. It says for 4-6 people yet I wouldn't sleep on the sofa bed and there were no sheets for it. Thankfully we brought an air mattress and sheets. Also, there was only seating for 4 at the dining table. The kitchen was well stocked and loved that a few basics were provided like toilet paper, a roll of paper towels etc. so we didn't have to rush right away to the grocery store. Unfortunately, the pool heater was broken, but they were working on it. It did warm up to 80 on our last night. If this is your first trip to Gulf shores, there is NO MALL nearby. There is an outlet mall. JC Penny is over 1 hr. away. I would recommend this unit as it was very quiet considering we were here during Spring Break. The price was right and the view was beautiful.

Overall our stay was enjoyable. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and pans we used and appreciated! There was a broken glass in the kitchen that hadn't been removed before we got there. We left in on the counter top where we found it. We will definitely be back again!
Will go back again.

9B had been updated!! Three new flat screen TV's, DVD player, new bedspreads, more silverware and cooking pots and pans. Think a new coffee maker. The unit was clean and fresh. The dryer quit heating and management sent someone up to check on it in about 10 minutes. We really enjoyed our stay.

I have always had a good stay at Gulf Towers in the past 20 years. This time the unit was not as clean as in the past (dirty bedspread, carpet not clean, bath floors not clean, chair dirty), the dishwasher quit running, and a panel fell off the kitchen cabinets. This has not been the case in the past. I think the owner has had so much expense from hurricane damage that some updates have been delayed. This is understandable. I will still go back to Gulf Towers every year for the Shrimp Festival. Gulf Towers is a quite family building, location is good (not too far and not too close to all the activity, pool is always well maintained, and Bender Realty will see to any problems you might have with a unit.

We enjoyed our stay and the staff at Bender Realty very much. We have now decided to make this a twice a year mini vacation. The only complaint I have is with the A/C unit. It would keep us cool. I called Bender Realty and they sent someone promptly, but it still wouldn't cool. Other than being warm a little too warm, it was a great trip, location, and service. Thank you!
